The non-moronic majority of us are very happy with Chris Hughton, we want to improve gradually and realistically, no knee-jerk hysteria if you please!
If the Boro job had come up a week earlier, would Nigel Clough be there instead of Sheffield U? My reasoning is that Boro is another club with a connection to Old Big 'Ead.
Every season one club or another seems to be in financial trouble. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...irmingham-City-administration--exclusive.html
Mr Vydra has spent another 90 mins sitting on the bench. Maybe he is happy to accept the money and do nothing for it.
There for the grace of... If Bassini had stayed any longer I think we would have folded, no administrative stage. Why, oh why do people who take on football clubs lose any sense of reality?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24701131 Is this to allow France in every time? 209 nations in FIFA 54 Africa 35 Cental North America 10 South America 11 Pacific 46 Asia 53 Europe Where does the legal money come from, who has the strongest teams, is south America over represented?
And still no automatic representation for Oceania/Pacific. We have only one dictatorship in Oceania so there is very little bung money.
This club is also in danger as the owners do not want to invest. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24787872
When I read or hear stories like this, my blood really boils over the amount of money 'floating' around in the EPL & other top leagues around Europe. Priorities within the game are all wrong... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24802846
I agree with you BB. I don't know anything about their situation apart from this article, but it did strike me that I and a few others with our strimmers and glazing putty could do something to at least make the ground usable. The rugby club is well supported, even if it does give free tickets to my grandsons, so I would have thought that there is a sporting interest down there. Maybe Al can research and tell us more as he is on the doorstep.
