Strange comment, half the people at every PL game are plastics. In fact It could be said most real fans are sat at home these days ( not meth ).
No one was great admittedly! And don't misunderstand, no one is exempt from my criticism, happen to think Rooney was shocking against Southampton for the most part but journos raved! Anyhow, from my vantage point nani was worst of a bad bunch! It's all opinion though! Nothing to do with lack of intelligence! Why boo? If they'd let me have a 10 minute chat with him I'd gladly do it!
Just because another team has plastic fans doesn't mean you aren't a plastic. I've no idea if you are or not though certain things suggest you are but your logic makes no sense.
It's a difficult one this as I've always been proud of the fact United fans don't boo their own players and was disgusted when a section did give Giggs the bird a few years back. I don't agree at all with booing the team off, the has got to be a first and it has never happened when I've been there and I witnessed some proper ****e in the 80's. I can see their point though in Nani's case. He's a frustrating waste of talent and if he's not putting the effort in while also being so completely wasteful then I can see why the frustration would come out and him get given stick. Those in the ground pay good money to watch someone get paid **** loads to do **** all and with Nani it's a culmination of years of frustration rather than a one off poor performance. In principle though it really shouldn't happen, all the players should be supported through a bad patch.
I'm 100% certain that United's away followers would not have booed the team off either. Sadly at home a lot of the crowd are now made up of people who are, shall we say, new supporters who don't quite get it.
erm.....Its a valid question Matth. He said City fans dont boo their players off , and then you mentioned the 2-1 defeat today. I was asking whether you had made reference to that because the City fans booed the City players off the field. Because if they didnt, your reply was irrelevant to his statement.
Is it true Nani has just signed a 5 year contract @ £120k a week ? Can't be true - Moyes isn't that stupid. Is he ?
Whether fans should boo is a debate worth having. I think there has to be a point where match going fans who have paid their money have a right to express disappointment at perceived continued failures. Probably a bit early in the season for booing at O.T but sometimes it is the only way the fans can let the player/s know they REALLY need to pull their socks up. Really can't see what right a plastic in Wales has to question the motives of fans who actually go to the games though. If this thread was made by someone going every week who has supported the club from before their first P.L title win, perhaps it would be more valid.
