Sometimes it feels better that way, the fact that you didn't put on a vintage performance is probably more satisfying, because you know that's the best Pardew can come up with and you lot will only get better. I feel a bit sorry for Newcastle fans, they invest a hefty percentage of their lives in their football club and they really could play some good football with that team if they didn't have such a clueless idiot in charge at every level.
