Oh come off it. There's entertainment and entertainment. If anyone thinks reading absolute twaddle type vitriol is more entertaining than trying to explain the ever present ear-to-ear grin to all and sundry, as we read each other's slaps on the backs, then there's some masochistic ideas of enjoyment out there. Besides, with ex-members like Gomarchin around, the mods work load went through the roof. So there was plenty of evidence that people didn't like his input.
My prediction of WDWDWD looks good so far Lets hope we can finish WWW or WWD and better my 12 points And the rest of you start to believe. We are good enough for Top6.
That's how it is on there at the moment. Even the worst trolls can't find anything negative to say, so they just have to stop posting for a bit.
As I said rather pessimistic...how great is 7 points from the first three matches. No reason to think that we couldn't get another 4-6 points from next three. That will set us up nicely for a tough spell. Now confident that we can get points off our rivals...isn't it nice that our rivals are now for the top spot and not for relegation. Big 6-pointer against Arsenal
The more open a team the more space for us to break into so and we've cause man u and Liverpool problems, I dnt think we will win but a draw would be a good result
We could. Arsenal could also cause us real trouble...they probably feature the best quick passing of any club right now, and that might make them a more difficult scalp to claim.
I honestly feel that we could cause any team in the league problems...we showed this last year with victories against City, Liverpool and Chelsea. No team will take us for granted again. Jol remarked that he knew that his team couldn't play round us as ManU couldn't the week before. We will have off days or more likely off-minutes (enough to let a goal in), but the team belief in the system is great to behold.
And another big difference from last season is that it's not just at home that we are causing people problems. We have let in 2 goals in 4 away games so far, which is pretty staggering in itself. And those away games include Man U and Liverpool.
It almost seems strange to say, given the quality of some of their forward players, but the answer to that question arguably lies at the feet of Flamini. He's just started to pick up the odd injury, and Arsenal are venerable without him.
His injury is concussion, so not exactly indicative of injury proneness in general. He'll be back for the game against us, sadly.
Arsenal are on very good form and tend to play better away from home. They are due a slip up! On another note, I think Giroud is one of the luckiest strikers in the world with the service he gets. I don't rate him hugely but I think having excellent players around him has helped him shine.
alistair magowan ‏@alistairmagowan Mathieu Flamini set to be out for 2-3 weeks with groin injury. That will mean he misses Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund and Man Utd games
You shouldn't say this sort of thing until AFTER our game with Arsenal. Giroud will now be brilliant against us (still not good enough to beat Lovren and the even more motivated Boruc though - oops, now I've gone and said it!).
OK so that's 11 from 5 with Arsenal away to go. Don't think I've felt this confident we could get a result there since Cockerill had his jaw broken all those years ago!
