I have to say i used to be a big fan of Baines after he didn't even appeal for a blatant penalty, but those two dives where shocking.

He isn't saying its just foreign players. I think the true issue is it has snuck into the English game due to our nature of winning at any cost, and where have they learnt it from? They must have learnt it from somewhere, and i think the influx of foreign players over the last 20 years has lead to the English players also thinking **** it if there doing it why shouldn't we.

So in some senses i do agree with PLT, but i think he just needs to clarify it a bit. The issue is where has diving come from? It has to have manifested itself from somewhere.

    Of course.

I'm not saying only Africans dive. In fact I specifically mentioned South Americans too. The Spanish and Italian also do it an awful lot and as Lewis mentioned some English lads are doing it but I believe it's a small minority that do. I do also believe however that the majority of players from those nations I mentioned are culprits.

The biggest eye opener for me is when I toured Spain and Italy playing for school, the young lads are the same over there. They're taught from young, when I was at Leeds we were taught how to win free kicks.

I thought he must have been caught at first viewing but the more I saw it replayed the less it looked like there was even any contact. I wasn't convinced he was brought down. If he was then I'll hold my hands up and admit I'm a ****.

Sagbo is far better IMO. He showed today that he's strong in the air, won more headers than Graham has all season, can really turn on the speed (he left his marker in the dust a few times), he has vision and has a heck of a shot (Loris only just got his finger tips to one from the angle of the box that was going in). He's certainly not the finished product but he'll score goals in the Prem and is way ahead of any of our other strikers, except perhaps Gedo, and of course Aluko and Brady if you call them strikers. Really impressed with him today

I thought YS put in far more of a shift than DG has. Granted, it's only been 2 games, but I think it'll be really hard for DG to push his way back in if Sagbo keeps playing like he has done.

I can't recall him winning any headers?

Looked really good but spurs seemed to be giving him lots of space that you don't usually get. Will get more of a feel after a run of a few games.

What did we pay for Saggy, was it £1.2 mil? Could be a right steal.

Something like that. Was about the same price as Fryatt I think.

Won at least four flick ons into space that I can remember. Unfortunately nobody up there with him to run onto them although Boyd made a couple of good runs in the first half before he tired.

That reminds me of a point I was going to make: Schurrle's goal for Chelsea is something our strikers should watch. Torres picks it up with 5 defenders between him and the goal and only Schurrle was ahead of him, by the time he crossed it Schurrle was still the only man in there but made the right run and scored. You only need one man to score as long as he runs to the right place. Our strikers never do this. Rosenior's cross today was perfect but Boyd pulled off deep and Sagbo was nowhere.

You are trying to compare Sagbo and Boyd to Torres and Schurrle though. There is a big gulf in class there.

It was only a run though nothing technical. A striker should be able to run to dangerous positions and none of ours bar Gedo can do that.

Boyd didn't drop off, he was deep as it was and was running forward to try and offer an option.

That was probably Roseniors best cross in a Hull City shirt as well, it was a really great ball in. Shame to see it go to waste.

Watch the replay, 'that centre half' came down on his ankle. He didn't go down to get him booked, he went down because it ****ing hurt.
