Was BBC look north with their derby day report. We were lucky and will no doubt be relegated. Hmmmmm how do they get away with it.

More bitter than a pint of tetley!

    Sounded about right to me.

Mind you, I've never heard it.

Mate, lets break this down. What chances do you recall that really stretched our keeper?

For having the majority of possession 2nd half, you never really threatened us or looked like scoring.

I thought we had about 70% of the game. Dreadfully pissed now and can't recall. Ask me tomorrow. <ok>

You had 51.7% of the possession. You had 16 shots to our 8, however 14 were from outside the box.

Stats back up what happened here. We organised ourselves well and frustrated you. Draw would have been a fair result but the game was won from the subs bench. Gus 3 Pardew 0

Draw would have been fair but your lads wanted it more so congratulations <ok>

We didn't create much second half, neither team did really. We went close through two Cabaye efforts and Ameobi very nearly put us 2-1 up (I thought it was in for a second) but all three of those efforts were from 20-25 yards out so weren't "chances created".

Quality wise (winning goal aside) it was a game completely bereft of any quality IMO.

What an excellent summing up ... cheers marra :emoticon-0148-yes:

Yes, you lot had the majority of possession in the second half and TBH were the better team ... but it's putting it in the onion bag that counts.

Even Pardew admitted you "switched off". Having a load of possession and doing nowt with it, and switching off in defence, means you generally lose games ... story of our season until today of course <laugh>

Looking forward to how Look Newcastle and Miss Clueless deride us tonight.
Newcastle win they would get a ten minute segment.
Sunderland win and we will get?
Newcastle were unlucky yesterday losing 2-1 the end.
In better news, we have a 15 minute special on Mrs Geordie and her amazing collection of porcelain skunks.
