Evening chaps.

I think Gigginstown really start to ramp up their season tomorrow with two chasing prospects to make the mouth water.

Don Cossack was touted as a wonder horse but failed to live up to that lofty reputation as a novice hurdler. He may never become a grade one horse but if the phrase 'whatever he does over hurdles is a bonus' has ever been true then it's with this fella.

Rule the World is running over hurdles and it's a hot race with Waaheb and On His Own aswell as the race fit Captain Arceus. Whatever happens tomorrow doesn't really matter as it's big fat fences this chap was made to jump over. Definitely the most exciting horse running on Monday following his quite excellent second in the Neptune.

time to start studying again--- provided the weather doesnt interupt , i have picked one from each meeting in the uk.

Raven's Brook in the 3 20 Bangor--for last years winning stable , who are also in very good order at the moment, surely been targeting this race-and this horse is the one given the task.

Chellala 4 30 Leicester --Ian Williams has sneaked this ex italian horse into a class 5 for the first time , with ground conditions to suit for the first time in the uk, a very good amateur on top, looks set for a big run imo.

Wrecking Ball 2 10-- Redcar--admittedly a shot in the dark , amy weaver is in good form , and this horse is totally unexposed-- its first race was a decent affair in the context of this race, and although it performed poorly nto--you have to forgive it that--sold out of the meehan operation-wouldnt be the first cast off that has been re juvenated--starting off in this grade means two things--its either been found a nice opportunity to get back the investment or it really is poor--i'm always prepared to give unexposed animals a chance...

13.45 Naas- Oscars Well- 5/2

Again could make this price look very big indeed. Goes very well fresh but the form of last season's Ryanair Novice Chase at the Punchestown Festival looks the key, he had Special Tiara (third), Alderwood (pulled-up) and Realt Mor (pulled-up) behind when second to Arvika Ligeonniere. And with the 5lbs he receives, it looks very handy and will take all the beating

Don Cossack and Rule The World are two nice prospects, Don Cossack doesnt do anything fast tho and will probably stay 5 miles.

The one im looking forward to is Defy Logic, might be in a few more Arkle markets after tomorrow.

No kidding there is a horse running tomorrow called BIG STORM COMING....! In the unlikely event that we wake up tomorrow to find that we have all managed to survive Armageddon then it's always possible that racing at Bangor may go ahead? Unlikely I know but I have been having a good look at the 3.50 and two things strike me. Firstly, that the favourite has been left without headgear! Maybe an oversight but the cynic in me suggests this one may run below its best. No one likes a ratings rise for coming second eh Marky? Secondly, that there is good money for BLUE SEA OF IBROX 5-1 who now she has a workable handicap mark steps back up in trip. This should suit and with the eyecatching booking of Dickie Johnson it would come as no surprise if she steps up markedly on anything she has done before.

Anyone see the race canadian million dollar race (as stated in sundays thread) What a performance by Joshua Tree and stunning ride by Ryan! Not the ideal result but still a nice profit <party>

I can only assume he's off his tits on something

<laugh> Class.

Is this Defy Logic fella the nutty hurdler that they blinkered last season, owned by JP McManus? He is the one with a serious engine but more buzzed than Jordans vibrator?

If he jumps cleanly he would be a very interesting Arkle angle. Cant remember him looking the biggest though physically?

Yeah thats him, he wears a hood to help him relax, does have a slightly awkward head carriage but he can run and has always been a chaser, hes big enough put it that way.

Hopefully get evens or better tomorrow but I doubt it, Golanbrook and Miley Shah are just half decent, it should really be just a case of jumping round for Defy Logic to win comfy.

Don Cossack should be a decent price, better than the forecast 5/4 anyway. 3 or 4 decent tools against him, a few with experience who will be more suited to the track than he will.
