I think, if true, this means we don't want to sell him...yet!

tbh as long as we get two more years out of him i'll be happy as he will be around 31 by then and i don't think he'll be able to last as long as someone like giggs.

It all rubbish this will get sorted it out, between now and January 2013. I am more concerned about losing Enrique and Barton.

That means we're looking for £4.5M but will accept £4M eventually.

The Mail is constantly coming up with tripe like this. They're still bitter that Ashley banned them from the Press room

I would honestly take £6 million if it was offered. I know he has helped us get to where we are in an epic way but next season if we strengthen where we should then I can see him sitting on the bench. If we honestly want to improve and move up the league then we need to be a little less loyal with players.

Thankyou Nolan for what you have done for us but we now need a little more mobility in midfield and a striker who scores the goals (and not you).

Why would you sell Nolan? He may not be a first teamer but that doesnt mean we can afford to sell him, and its not like we need any additional transfer budget.

Barton and Enrique are more immediate concerns, not Nolan.

I don't get where the daily fail get there info considering they are one of the rags banned from SJP. They are always spouting off utter trip. Never believe anything that is wrote in that paper.

Maybe the fact that they are banned from SJP is the reason they spout off all the garbage. Take it with a pinch of salt or try to ignore it completely. It's not as if it's the best selling newspaper in this area.

Why sell nolan we arnt desperate for cash plus his return last season was incrdbile he got a load of goals and assists, to get that sort of return on a player you would need to spen about 20m in todays market so why would we sell him for 6 or anything for that matter? Hes worth more than 6m to us.

I wouldn't sell him for that sort of money. We need to build a squad with strength in depth and whilst I hope we will bring in players this summer who will reduce his first team opportunities I would want Nolan as an important part of our overall squad. And £6m would not give us enough money to be guaranteed of finding a replacement capable of scoring the goals that he does.

I'd rather we kept him and let him run down his contract if necessary and who knows maybe we could strike an agreement with him further down the line!

  17. If this is true then it's ridiculous.

No matter how average some people think he is....

HE'S SCORED 30 GOALS FOR US IN TWO SEASONS

You don't ****ing sell your top scorer man!

  20. Anyone who'd sell a bloke that's scored 30 goals for you in 2 seasons for 6 million is ****ing brain dead.
