It depends what you call divide? I am guessing 95% at tops would never want him back here ... I post crap but he took the biscuit and was very much out of order and could of apologised but chose pride.
Yeh Clint was immense - so immense I called him my MOM on the MD thread as soon the gamne was done. He saved us from a worse defeat. EA dissapointed me yesterday, on the ball anyway (he was good defensively) - he had as many terrible passes as Henry, but luckily his went unpunished. He started the game with one, in the first 2 minutes from a free kick I think, which went very close to putting a Burnley player clear on our goal.
FFS Cerny is on a life time site ban imposed by the Super Moderator for his appalling behaviour on the Swansea board and will never be welcomed back. Anyone who the supermod has sufficient grounds for suspecting is a re-incarnation of Cerny will also be on a life time ban. Personally I don't see how a post saying "Hello Bob" would have added anything to any thread we've had recently, can we move on please?
Rollercoaster Ranger thank you for your input (and sorry to prompt the exasperated oath!) I am probably looking at this all in isolation, as I haven't ever ventured onto other boards; and I am certainly not questioning the efficacy of the super moderator's decision. So please don't think that was the case. My point was one that laments an absence of diverse opinions. I guess it would be better if I re-phrased this..... I felt that CernyBerny - amongst other contributors - encouraged a healthy debate with opinions that varied greatly. Some spiky, some downright daft. Some offensive. Much like the crowd at Loftus Road. I felt that the board represented what I see and hear when I'm at the football. Some time in the dim and distant past, a number of contributors went through a phase of writing their eulogies, then bowing out; this lasted until one or two were ribbed mercilessly by other posters and then persuaded to stay. I'm guessing that without the eulogy and self indulgent au revoir, we have simply lost those who used to contribute. I could be wrong, but there certainly seems a lack of incisive, spirited debate. As QPR999 observed, there's an indifference. Whilst I accept that we don't want to encourage behaviour that breaks the board rules, it's good every so often to have a healthy debate that sits close to the lines and draws out opinions. CernyBerny seemed to do this most often. So what I am saying is; who is going to step into his loafers and offer a thought provoking, engaging debate? (Without all the other stuff! )
You are re-firming my suspicions about you. Have a look at the US spying thread. Plenty of contribution there.
He did debate and I liked him but he then went over the top and got banned for life ... is there anything left apart from opinions? Cerny lost his
Somebody who isn't an objectionable, ignorant, self-centred twat who also knows something about football. I never saw him post an opinion about the game, just gossip and poorly written insults.
I smile when contributors make these assertions. As I've proven beyond doubt to QPR999 and other moderators on countless occassions - there's no shill account or duplicity here. I have a member of staff at my work â another QPR fan â who reads these boards but rarely contributes. He thinks this concept is hilarious! I've thrown down the gauntlet many a time - check every IP address - every single one. The only way this would have been possible is if CernyBerny had ventured over from Watford to the Cotswolds and sat outside my house piggybacking on my wireless connection! Alas, I stumbled upon his Direct Messages long after he was banned, so we failed to anoint our supposed âjoint enterprise'! More's the pity! By contrast, others have made the very sensible observation that timing of posts, vocabulary, tone, spelling and narrative all differ from CernyBerny / Secret Ranger. But that's all too easy to explain away - it's logical after all. And who accepts logic in a world of conspiracy theories? Anyone still not sure? I recommend subscribing to David Icke on Twitter - let's face it there's greater chance of CernyBerny being one of those lizard people than being me! @davidicke
