I love the fact the OP as actually stated you need a sense of humour to play for Norwich. Couldn't have put it better myself!!

 

No Norwich fan is expecting him to be next seasons Charlie Adam and be on the PFA players award list. Always thought he was a solid player that will try his hardest at the highest level he can play.

 

He will, but the highest level he can play is Champ. I`d try hard for you mate, I`ll cover avery blade of the pitch for 10k a week, I`m still **** though.

 

If you Leeds fans are lucky enough, Paul Lambert will turn him in to a better player. Personally I think he will improve dramatically with Norwich.
At that point I will join all the Leeds fans that have said Grayson is a crap manager who could not get the best out of his team

 

Well if he is so bad when he played 45 games for you last season, which was only bettered by Howson, the rest of your squad must be carp.

Everybody, and I mean everybody apart from Norwich fans, thought Grant Holt wouldn't cut the mustard in the Championship, and we all know he most certainly did and even got in the Championship team of the season.

Maybe, just maybe, Johnson will do ok. Nobody knows until a. he definitely signs and b. the season begins.

Not bad considering it was your first season in the Championship for 3 years.

 

The reason he played so many games is quite simple, we had no one else to play that position / role. In League 1 he certainly wasn't ever present because we had Doyle......

 

Carra, seeing as a lot of us have seen him game in game out for a number of years then I would say we are pretty well placed to comment.

I`ve given a fair assessment of him which I`m sure many will agree with. Don`t be fooled by the 45 games stat, we just didn`t have much better so yes our squad was horrendouslyweak in defensive areas, not many will disagree with you.

He played as a defensive midfielder, our chronic goals conceded tally last season should give some credence as to our slighly disparaging comments about BJ, alongside the good he did.

This is a bit daft actually, Norwich sticking up for someone who is still our player!

 

As I said, nobody knows how he will perform in the Premier League.

Lets just wait and see.

 

Also, that video basically says "we already know we're coming straight down, we're only bothered about the publicity and the 'oh look norwich are in the premier league, shiny'".

 

I'd cringe a bit if Leeds made a video like that but it did make me chuckle with the Hoolahan stuff.

Surely finishing 7th in our first season back in the Championship, the team having the character to come back from 1 nil down against Bristol Rovers with ten men to get promoted on the last day of the season, and the great, spirited performances against Liverpool, Man Utd, Spurs, and Arsenal over the last 2 seasons have shown the togetherness of the Leeds dressing room.

Norwich got promoted because they bought better players than us, and therefore had a better team than us.

As for Bradley Johnson - I wanted Leeds to keep him and I think it's a poor decision to let him go for nothing, and I think he can improve after having his best season with us. However, he's not Premier League quality. His passing is average, his shooting is poor (forget the goal against Arsenal that doesn't prove anything) and he's quite slow and clumsy. His strong points are his strength, good in the air and he works hard and is a battler. But Norwich fans, please, don't act like you've signed a fantastic player. There were better free transfers from Championship clubs you could have got.

 

Do you know how many first team CMs we had? Howson, Kilkenny and Johson, that was it. 3 CMs for a 5 man midfield mean those 3 players were bound to get a few games, I'm sure you'll agree.

Just admit that the video is class and hilarious and shows that the likes of Holt (who opposition fans slate - mainly because he is world class) is actually a legend, funny guy, great character and has more personality than all your players put together!

 

There is only one reason why leeds will never again play premiership football and that is as any sensible leeds fan knows is papa smurf. papa is on a winner he gets premiership support for 2nd class players and dont have to pay out premiership wages...he cant lose and you can see why he has bought the remaining shares all to himself which indicates he is going to be around for many more seasons to come. he is not daft im not so sure about the fans who assist him in his quest as a property tycoon of the highest order....

 

What is it with other teams fans coming on the Leeds United board. Why don't you stop your obsession with the greatest football team and its fans and go talk about your own side?

 

carra-johnson is slightly better than average championship standard,not good enough to compete with top championship midfielders and nowhere near prem standard.
Although he did improve a bit last season,not good enough to take Leeds forward,that don't mean he wont do well for you.Different manager may get more out of him.just would surprise most of us.

I don't mind Norwich fans coming over here for constructive discussion, e.g. me and Beef over transfer expenditure but if I find that there are further wind-up attempts (not speaking to anyone in particular here, Whole lot of Holt ) I'll have to put in a ban request which I don't want to do.
