I'm assuming this is a joke? Sorry if I've got that wrong because if thats all he does then that isn't exactly too shabby. I've been somewhat critical of Wanyama all season but I find it hard to find fault with anything he did yesterday. He was excellent.

JWP needs to buck his ideas up...I saw him misplace a pass yesterday :)

Poor JRod...wanted to celebrate goal, but didn't know whether to clutch his hand or back after his brave tackle of the post. Posts always win those contests. Pretty sure he will be hurting this morning.

Loved the detailed review on Sky of Berbatov's 'marking' of Rickie. From behind the goal, you could clearly see Parker saying twice...mark Lambert. Looked like he was talking to a particularly thick toddler. That tells you that he knew Berbatov was useless...which begs the question, why have him mark Lambert?

One of the most dominant first half displays ever. Very enjoyable.

Apparently Fulham had no shots on goal in first 45 mins...a PL record.

I don't know if they had a shot on target all game - depends if we count the one that kind of bounced off Berbatov to Boruc.

One tactic that made a welcome return yesterday was the diagonal ball to Rickie on the far post that has been so effective for us in the last few years. It helped to create one goal with Rickie heading across for JayRod to finish and probably should've been two when Rickie headed straight at the keeper.

Sunday Supplement on SS1 currently praising Cortese!! ...miracles will never cease!!!

I think the second half would have been boring, except all Saints fans were still buzzing from the first.

Yes, but 5th with everyone having played the same amount of games. Not shabby at all.

I can tell you though that he would not be happy about it. I was watching him closely yesterday and basically he is never happy. He's like a chess grand-master who has the perfect game and every move mapped out in his head. On a number of occasions yesterday when I thought we'd done well to keep possession he was up giving it that Latin, "how did I deserve this bunch of idiots" thing.

Quite simply, I think he is a perfectionist and always wants the best from his players. Throughout the game he is constantly talking to the players and making minor adjustments. For much of the first half he was trying to get Shaw to play further up the pitch.

What he says on TV isn't necessarily what he is thinking (possibly its what the interpreter is thinking!).

Anyway, he clearly believes that this team can do even better than its doing and that suits me.

I'm not sure that's a nailed on cert. Hull seem to be playing quite well. We play them in a few weeks, should be interesting.

If there's one quality people at the top of any profession have, it's perfectionism.

More praise on MOTD2 (yawn) :) They also said that Mauricio speaks English, but is using an interpreter to keep a low profile. As Lawro said, 'Why would he want to speak to us.' One chap who interviewed him yesterday joked about the problem of knowing when to nod...do you nod to the interpreter or to Pochettino. They mentioned the fact that Cortese and Saints have a plan and are carrying it out and compared us to teams like Crystal Palace who were almost taken by surprise with promotion.

I am hugely befuddled as to why James Ward-Prowse is not getting more media attention. He is a staggeringly talented young man with a huge future ahead of him. I feel like if he was coming through at a somewhat more fashionable club then he'd be getting verbally fellated by pundits far and wide. As much as I like that he's being left to play and develop in peace I also want the world to realise how great he is, was and will continue to be!

Loved that, but then Saints fans are loving everything at the moment. They said a similar thing on MOTD2 that Cortese (people seem to think he is the owner...I wish) has a plan not to just make money but to take SFC to another level. On their forum, most Fulham fans are complimentary, but a few are saying we are media darlings and that Sky should have shown more impartiality??! Some moaning that we have had money to spend, forgetting that we were adding a few talented players to a Championship team, whereas they have presumably had a PL team for some time.

    I didn't realise that Berbatov was Fulham's captain....certainly didn't act like it.

All these good results are going to be the death of me. I'm having to party every weekend. And when I party... I party... HARD.
