My most vivid memory of a windy game is much happier - it helped me score direct from a corner that started off heading for the edge of the box.

I couldn't claim mine as intentional. I spotted our right winger in a bit of space and their left back very narrow so as I launched a majestic cross field pass, I shouted "Kev, get on this". Only to see the ball get blown like a golf slice straight past their keeper.
