People will rightly talk about Suarez, but Studge's goal was awesome. He is almost, dare I say it....... Fowler-like! :<party>

Henderson, Lucas and Suarez. All were immense today, Henderson especially. I think it was the 89th minute, and Henderson was still zooming about getting in peoples faces, but he wasn't just a runner today, his little first touch passes really set our attacks going.. Him, Lucas and Gerrard were all on song and really showed our potential in an attacking sense in the 3-5-2 (still hate it), potentially add Coutinho in to the mix and things look tasty.

Fantastic hattrick, could of had more but damn, 6 goals already, that's madness. Sturridge 8 in 9 now <cool>

Good to hear Lucas played well. His position is under threat as is Hendo's. Hopefully this game is on football first.

Yes Gerrard, Suarez and Lucas were immense. Henderson may have run forever but his passing was often sloppy, his tackling doubtful and his shooting poor. You really need more than hard work.

"I think it was the 89th minute, and Henderson was still zooming about getting in peoples faces"

We'll so miss him when his legs fall off from the shins because he runs from his knees...<wah>

By the way, what the **** does that mean, "Runs from his knees"? Is it like hank Hill's dad who had his shins shot of in the Pacific War? Does he run like Michael Flattley dances? I used to do middle-distance running a million years ago and for the life of me I can't see a problem with his running style. I fact, I've said from day one he's a wonderful athlete. I think Slurgy is trying to do a Paisley. Paisley was a trained physio and was legendary at running the rule over young players and saying whether they'd develop cartlidge, Achilles and groin problems later in their careers. Given that Slurgy signed an already semi-crippled Hargreaves, is he so sure of his own powers of prediction?

Not seen the game so looking forward to MOTD tonight. Sounds like Suarez's 1st & 2nd goals as well as Sturridge's goal were pretty special <ok>

Not sure what the performance was like but glad we got a couple of goals in the 2nd half, so far it's not been a problem but if keep going through games and not scoring in 2nd halves it get's mentioned more and more and it can start to become a psychological problem.

With Enrique & Coutinho to come back in things are looking good at the moment. Just think that Agger, who at the start of the season was our 1st choice CB, can't get into the team because of our CB's current form, SAS are forming a formidable partnership and Coutinho still hasn't played much with both of them <ok>

I thought Skrtel was quite poor today. And I'm with Dave re. Henderson - for all of his hard work and stamina, he lacks the guile and genius to flourish in such a position. However - he posseses the same amount of technical ability as a number 10 as Moses but he puts in much more of a shift and put the opposition under a lot of pressure. SAS were able to get to second balls because of Hendo's pressing, and that pressing and energy seemed to transcend throughout the team.

The trio of Henderson, Gerrard and Lucas were brilliant today - however, WBA didn't press them that often so it gave them time and space. There will be tougher times (especially with Arsenal next week) but I hope this trio can keep up this high intensity game.

Final word on the game - possibly our best performance of the season.

Only seen the goals - very good.

Apparently it could have been more and their penalty was dodgy.

Came in from a rugby match in the torrential rain to Liverpool 3-0 up. Lovely.

The penalty was dodgy. The linesman signalled for it but I don't know how he could know what happened as there were at least 2 players in his line of sight! If you can't be sure you can't give it.

So their penalty didn't alter the result in terms of points but we didn't get our clean sheet and it did encourage them which made life harder just when they had 'thrown in the towel'.

Great result and a super goal from Danny. We only conceded from a penalty kick but the defence look shaky and Mignolet for all his shot stopping prowess doesn't inspire confidence at corners. He comes and flaps at every single one.

Granted that's nit picking today. Great result and 3 points against a bogey team.

Just seen MOTD, Suarez first pen appeal wasn't a penalty, and the one for West Brom I'm not sure what the whole fuss is about. Yes Skrtel had a slight hold on his shirt but no more than the WBA defender did on Suarez and then Skrtel won the ball without touching him?

First goal was typical Suarez, problem is, we've come to accept that as the norm but had it be anyone else we would have been loving it even more! The 2nd, well I don't think he'll score a better header in his life, Shearer would have been proud of that one.

But Sturridge's goal was the best for me, to even try that with the keeper only about 4 yards out and to get it so perfectly placed is incredible.

Oh, and god knows what the linesman saw for their penalty... but let's not get into that.

    1, he's doing alright with number 15

2, players shouldn't be allowed to change numbers - think of all those kids with Sturridge 15 on their shirts... would make a mockery of spending £50 on a shirt
