Exactly! and that is what I am trying to convey. Why is it okay today, if it is borderline criminal on the 2nd weekend of May?

I'm not sure if the Tevez case actually ended up in court I think the FA or Premier League did a backroom stitch up! That was an absolute scandal in my view and dragged the integrity of football into the gutter but alas these behind the scenes deals are all too common!

I don't understand how you could possibly think that was a legitimate goal Thai. If it was, why don't players go for goal every time they receive a throw-in in that manner? If it was the last game of the season, I wouldn't care, as that goal should never have stood.

Player reaction was pretty odd, no one knew what was going on Cardiff players were livid with Fer and many of them were on the edge of doing somethings stupid and getting a red card. I don't really remember anyone celebrating though wasn't really a chance to.

How the Cardiff players reacted was an absolute disgrace, they acted like Fer had broke someones leg.

I actually would have rather seen that goal allowed. I'll argue it to the hilt, I agree it was unsportsmanlike but those 3 points could be massive for us. I don't particularly care about what other football fans think about us, and I agree that **** would blow over in a week or two.

It's easy, because it was a legitimate goal, and within the rules of the game - even JWM accepts that (He's a ref you know). The sportsmanship thing is entirely another beast.

Fer jogged off sheepishly and was meet with the obvious outrage from our players.

Yes it was a fair goal. We always allow 2 opposition players to have a throw in unopposed on the edge of our 18 yard box while our keeper stands on the edge of the box.
The ball should have been thrown straight to Marshall. That's why he was stood there.

Fer tried to change the one bit of sportsmanship you can still depend on in our game. The ref was right to stop him.

To the decent Norwich fans, well done, I can assure you I wouldn't want us to stay up with 2 points gained that way.

To the others, are you really that desperate already? Plenty of time to sort it out without stealing 2 points by doing something that would have been the most unsporting thing that had ever happened in the PL.
Your bollocks justification of money in the PL and needing the points is genuinely embarrassing.
To compare that to a quick free kick........? Seriously?!?

I'm just wondering what he was thinking? Frustration maybe that we dominated but couldnt score? I dont know but am glad the ref done that cos I don't believe anyone really wants to win that way.

He said on MOTD that in Holland that's ok. Well have you ever seen anyone score a 94th minute winner and jog slowly back to the centre circle?
He knew he was taking the piss and tried to steal the win. Phil Thompson said yesterday afternoon he should get a 3 match ban for such unsporting behaviour and I agree it would be good to see the FA act.

And look at West Ham and Sheffield United's league positions now.Arguably can be traced back to that decision.

For something that the ref dealt with already and came to nothing? Sounds like someone is on a frothy mouthed vengeance streak.

It was a goal and should have stood. At the time, and I was sat behind that goalmouth I thought that it was a mix up between Fer and Marshall but having seen it on MOTD I think that Fer did do it deliberately. It should have been given and then Cardiff allowed a walk in.Then I suppose what happens if either Norwich or Cardiff survive by virtue of a single goal scored more than another team.Unlikely but possible.

I think we're all missing the fact that that throw in was just another time wasting exercise from Marshall anyway, the second he saw a player on the floor he kicked the ball out knowing it'd have to be thrown straight back to him, using up more time. I rarely agree with Jose but Cardiff did ALOT of time wasting; Marshall took about 30 seconds over every goal kick!

It was obviously unsporting behaviour from Fer and I was expecting the ref to just immediately say take the throw again. However, it is not down to the players to decide when the ball should be kicked out of play and it was just another attempt to waste more time (Not that more time would have helped, it seemed like we could have played for ever but not actually get that bloody ball in the net!) and if it had of stood it would have felt a little justified, but it's never the way I'd like to see Norwich win a match.

Danny Mills and Louis Zaha are both saying that Fer should have been booked for unsporting behaviour!

Goals on Sunday have just shown the ref signalling for the throw to be re- taken again before the ball went in.

Seems Rvw and Fer need on advice on being better people from Ellmander who had walked off refusing to get involved with the cheating.

Have Norwich never time wasted to see a game out? EVERYBODY does it, if you're winning at ours in the last 5minutes I'm sure you'll be racing to get the game started. Chelsea and their prick of a manager destroyed their game at Old Trafford with ultra negative tactics and time wasting. It's fine for fans to shout at the ref when it's happening but it's just one of those things and there's not a side in the league that don't do it sometimes.

My issue is that it was time wasting all through the match. Everytime the ball went dead, either for goal kicks, throw ins or freekicks, the Cardiff players would take far longer than necessary. Which made it all the more frustrating at the end of the game because we had seen it for the last 90 minutes!

That's a fair point. We had to put up with it all season last year. Teams were purposefully trying to play as few a minutes as possible, I totally understand why it pissed you guys off but you'll do it this season. Probably in your next away match!

I've said my bit so I'll leave it there and toddle off back to our board.

Good luck and all the best except when you play us again.....
