I'm sorry, but did you see his Twitter response after the Villa game? It was OUR fault as fans that we didn't realise how wonderful he was. He is lucky to be playing for Norwich rather than struggling in the middle of the Championship with Leeds. We should sell him in January and get a player who can cross the ball and has a bit of pace. He should be on his knees thanking Norwich for his chance and he seems to think he is some footballing God. Complete tosser.

He didn't say that. He said that anybody who questioned the player's desire to win the match was wrong to do so. And he was right and none of you can even deny that!

First test failed for CH, let's see the hammers at home.

I bet he said "we are getting in the right areas to score" or something like that.

Of course some people on here will say we dominated and we "deserved" to win. But we didnt did we? Again.

Why is he a "jumped up little prat"? Because he didn't have a great game and missed a pen a few weeks ago? Yes he isn't the best player in the world but some of these comments are stupid. Why should how good a player the are mean they can be forgiven for being "tossers" or not? It shouldn't at all.

But he didn't apologise for taking the penalty. And he should have. He should have ****ing grovelled. He is a self-important prat and the sooner he is out of Norwich, the better. We can't afford tosser little egos like him. Maybe he can join QPR. He would fit in there.

We can sit here and discuss every detail about the game. We might have another point but we need to start winning some games, I said it before the season started we need to put teams like this away or we're going to end up like last season battling for our existence.

Our last run of games are not going to be so forgiving so we need to really help ourselves out or just hope that the top four is already settled by then.

Why do you hate him so much? There are plenty worse characters in football than Snoddy. His twitter comment was nothing particularly bad. Maybe he is just pissed off at fans like you talking rubbish?

You probably guess that I feel strongly about this. That penalty miss against Villa is defining our season and he should be on his knees begging the fans' forgiveness. Instead he tweets that the fans are stupid and don't understand. **** off, you little prat! If I had been Hughton, he would have spent ten weeks in the reserves for doing that. He is a tosser, an absolute tosser, and the sooner we get rid of him the better.

What has he done this season except miss a penalty that would almost certainly have meant we win the game rather than lose it? He has been ponderous and his idea of skill is falling down and hoping he gets a free kick.

Did anyone read why snoddy said he took the penalty. He explained that no one had been designated penalty taker for the game and that in the previous cup game he and elmander were on penalties, so he thought he was the one to take it.

    Getting down to brass tacks.
We played well in the first half, dominated the midfield. Fer, Howson, Snodgrass and Pilkington all played well in that half. Hooper made some good runs (much improved from his Arsenal performance). However we still didn't create any clear cut chances. Second half, Malky made two substitutions to tighten up the midfield and we had less creative space. Snodgrass, Pilkington and Fer were all very quiet second half. Oddly enough we had some better chances to score, but lacked clinical finishing. Pilks was unlucky not to get a better foot on the ball in front of goal, and we also hit the post.
I thought the Wolf should have come on before Elmander with the substitution. Only giving him 5 minutes at the end was unfair. We also have got to be far more effective from corners, I find it bizarre that all we do is hang it up high, with no decent pace on the ball, it makes it impossible for anyone to get a good contact, and makes it easy for the defenders. This is something that should be being worked on on the training ground and it worries me that nothing seems to be improving in this area. We kept the ball well in the main but were too slow to move it from side to side and it made Cardiff's job much easier. We are lacking the pace and dynamism to really stretch average teams, and lets be honest, Cardiff were a very average team.
A final comment on the goal that never was. The referee definitely bottled it. The throw in was taken legally and what he should have done if he believed that Fer had deliberately disobeyed his instructions was probably to blow up for a free kick on the grounds of unsportsmanlike behaviour. To replay the throw was a bit of a f*ck up in my opinion by a referee who panicked. Any qualified refs on here?

You can think that if you want to. But RvW should have taken that penalty. He has never missed one, apparently, in a competitive game. He is a footballer of a class that Snodgrass can only dream.

I'm not sure making snoddy a scape goat will help matters, although I do think over the last 5 games he's been weak compared to last season, & IMO I would have rested him in favour of Redmond. Who must surely be a shoe in for the man city game ?
What rankled me today was the fact we didn't change the formation early enough in the 2 nd half.
Cardiff were there for the taking, but when we pushed forward Hooper was often on his own with 4 red shirts around him. IMO Tettey was a luxury we could have afforded to loose for getting Hooper some help up top.
If the defence can't cope for a half against a weak Cardiff front line without extra cover then we are ****ed !
I'm not going to go banging on about CH you all know my view, the second half for me was when he showed his total lack of bottle. He will always look to not loose rather than win & that WILL be our down fall this season.
