2-0 Arsenal. Giroud. Fair play Arsenal for grounding out a win with 10 men, albeit against the worst team in the league.

What were people's feelings on the red card? I have had a crisis of faith in myself for agreeing with Michael Owen.

Never a red card for me. Clear goalscoring opportunity? Really?

Remember the words "last man", so beloved by the "experts", don't actually appear in the rules.

As a referee, I get really annoyed when people say someone should have been sent off as they were the last man. Read the rules for ****s sake!

Yellow at most. He was the last man, but if you saw the shot from behind the players, Chamakh is elbowing Arteta before Arteta makes contact. And it was nearly 40 yards from goal. And it was Chamakh.

My personal feelings were that it wasn't actually a foul, but that to me it's absolute nonsense it wasn't a clear goalscoring opportunity.
