and do prduce a decent player or two along the way, sell them, and start again, no moaning..

The usual suspects are back trying to whip up a hate campaign against Bruce.

 

If Bruce had gone and we'd been given permission to speak to Martinez I think the site would crash. Would anyone Sunderland fan be happy with that? I can't see why Villa fans would be but if reports are true they turned to him after fan backlash over an approach for Steve McClaren

 

I like Martinez but he's a risk for a club like us or Villa who want to kick on again.

McClaren would be a dreadful choice simply due to the fact that when he Went to Holland his Dutch didn't improve but his English got worse.

Couldn't speak their language but he picked up their daft accent.

 

Id love to hear him have a crack at a brummie accent though. I think he's destined for the Jamaican national job though. "Hear me now rude boi, me name iz steve McClaren and I iz ere to win the wurl cup riiiiiiight"

 

I know mate, I felt well pissed off yesterday morning but by midday the more reasonable views came out. Dont get me wrong I like the differing views and opinions and they may well be right,its the way its done that gets me, the never miss the chance to ram in down our throats.

My view is well known by now but its like this to me, love Bruce or hate him he is here for some time to come so why not try and go with him for the sake of the club.

We all know some on here won't be happy till Bruce has gone.
I don't understand it, Bruce is doing a fine job. OK we may not be setting the world on fire but we are improving.
It's not anyone at the clubs fault that Bent stabbed us in the back and Hendo moved for four times the pay with a top English club.
Unfortunately for teams like ours when one of the big four come calling it's very hard if not impossible in some cases to resist.
Things can change of course but it will take time.

 

i have calmed down a bit from yesterday but i am still not excited yet plenty of time left till september

Ive slowly begun to simmer down too, Im not Bruce out and haven't been at any point but yday smacked of a lack of ambition from the club in my opinion.

If the Man U players linked sign up that would quell my dissapointment a little.

 

And that why I honestly think we need to see what the window brings before judging

Mind calling the thread "moaners" is harsh. I'm a fan first and foremost.. I go to the match with my mates and we all disagree on various things i.e Is Hendo any good etc... At the end of the day, just because sombody disagrees with me it doesn't make their opinion less valid, time will tell which of us is on the mark.

 

Its not you I mean then, opinions and views are a good thing and we will never agree on everything and the title is just to draw attention mate.

 

Good stuff! Well hopefully we will agree at the start of the season if the back four contains Elmo, Mccartney, Killgallon and Noz (shivers)
