Full of praise for the likes of Ramsey and Wilshere. Plus another player to speak about Ramsey's stamina and how much ground he covers. Also talks about the difference between playing in Spain and England. Before the arrival of Ozil, I did want to see us go for Fabregas, but he is a player that we no longer need, and also he has finally started to find his best form for Barca and has been better than both Iniesta and Xavi this season, so I doubt he is going to return to England any time soon.
If there's a chance he'd come back and play for us I'd take it with open arms. It doesn't matter how many midfielders we've got, you'd never pass up the chance to have somebody of his quality at the club, which he loves. A lot of spuds and a one or two doomers, questioned why Fabregas didn't get the same vitriol as RVP when he left, but I think we understand that he gave everything whilst he was here and was always going to go home to Barca one day. I was gutted when he left, but I wasn't angry like I was with RVP, who gave us one season and spoke about how he loved captaining the club, wanted to win trophies with us etc .... There's no way we'll ever see RVP in an Arsenal shirt again, but Cesc you never know
I'm not a fan of the way he went about it, but moving abroad for reasons other that money isn't traitor for me
He wanted success like anyone does. If you change companies are you a traitor?? He had outgrown arsenal
If Cesc is a traitor for moving clubs, then so is every player who has ever done likewise. This would include pretty much every player Arsenal will buy or has bought.
Few question the "loyalty" of a club when they offer players (even club legends) just a 1 year contract extension once they get old or start under-performing, fans find it perfectly reasonable in fact. I don't think there should be such higher standards for the loyalty of players, where you expect them to (potentially) sacrifice their careers for an under-performing club.
Cesc has always been a class act, and his latest comments are exactly why he was always a million to one to join Utd and why we watched with joy as they pursued him all Summer when they, it seems, were the only ones who thought they stood a chance of gaining his services. As many of us have always said, he'll only ever play for 2 clubs....

Fabregas is an Arsenal legend...Yeah everybody knew he wanted to leave in his final season, but he never made a major public issue with it, take the example of Lewdanski-Suarez, Fabregas never went down route, he handled it very professionally, the fact he stayed for another season with us when he wanted to leave in summer 2010 is to his credit, he could've forced his way out like RVP the **** did, but he decided to give Arsenal and Wenger another season. As for missing the final game to watch formula 1, he was given PERMISSION BY THE MANAGER, how many times does that point have to be made? The season was also already decided by then, top 4 was secured, there was nothing left to play for, the game was basically a friendly, so it wasn't like he buggered off for a key game, he was injured, couldn't play, the game was not important, so the club obviously thought it was best for him to be able to take some time off, after what was a very gruelling season as well. The guy gave us 7 top class seasons in the first team, what more do people want for him, after 8 years at the club, he wanted to join his boyhood club, and joined without making a huge issue of it in the media and acting like a 'slave' as others have done when they wanted to push for a move. On top of that, every time Fabregas speaks of Arsenal in the media, he's always talking positively about us, never a negative, or a dig, now can the same be said for other players who are considered legends at this club, like Ian Wright who seems to have a chip on his shoulder and loves to slag this team off, or Adams? I have more respect for Fabregas as an ex-gunner than I have for those 2, I even found it surprising Adams said he'd love to join Arsenal in a coaching capacity, really? After how much he's slagged us off in the media?!
The problem is, A87, that neither of your examples come across as the actions of a man who loves the club. They seem more like this (forgive the artistic license): 1. Cesc: 'Boss, I want to leave' Wenger: 'Not now - next season' Cesc: 'OK' 2. Cesc: 'Boss, I don't want to be in the stands for my last game as an Arsenal player. Can I go somewhere else?' Wenger: 'OK then' Cesc: 'Thanks'
Personally I don't buy the She Wore blog. My only issue with Cesc is that his desire to move to one club only meant that we were never able to get market value for him - at the time City and Chelsea were chucking £40m-£50m cheques around and in a bidding war we wouldn probably have got more. I can't criticise the man if I'm honest....
Tony Adams is the greatest captain in Arsenal's history and is deserving of the status of legend.I can guarantee you that you'll never see a statue of Fabregas outside the stadium Unlike Fabregas,VanPersie did not force his way out of the club,he had 12 months left on his contract and informed the club he would not sign a new one.
