I suppose the old adage rings even truer now: If you can't do the time, don't punch the equine.

Typical but sums up how disgusting this country is. Gone to the dogs since Thatcher came in and never recovered.

Actually mate, we're on page five. As it's a forum it's been used to discuss the inconsistencies in the justice system, both in the sentencing of that moron and our own experiences. Of course we've thrown in a bit of piss take, it's derby week.

We don't run and hide when things don't go our way in football. Life goes on and events will continue to develop and we reserve our right to discuss them. <ok>

The other active threads suggest otherwise. 25 active threads compared to your 8. <ok>

You make me feel like a real mafia don 2010. Now kiss the ring <laugh>

Please for ****s sake sort out this replying to posts problem. Is it some form of mental torture you are experimenting with. I think after all this time it is finally beginning to work on me.

Not consistent when you look at what is given out for other offences which is not right but personally couldn't give a hoot. Morons like this reflect badly on the rest of us. Would of been preferable if the horse had just kicked hom in the face and uglied him up a bit then they would of been even.

Good luck to Newcastle on Sunday. Nothing against Sunderland and get on well with most of their fans on here but hope Newcastle win because of Bri + the fact I hate Poyet with a passion <ok>

    Rep.

    I do fear for Bri.
I think he will spontaneously combust if the Mackems fail to get a point (something he seems to struggle with despite his recent experience).
There will be half digested cheesy chips all ower the place.

I'm sorry, but people get away with a fine for smacking the **** of other people, and this guy gets a year in prison for hitting a horse?

True you could say it's part of the police force, but I really hate this police state type ambiance these days where hitting the police is somehow 10x worse than hitting a human in general.

It isn't, for me. If the police get attacked, they have the right to disable the person, if needed, and take them to prison. That's the only difference there should be. It shouldn't be "you hit a civilian, you get a 200 quid fine". You hit a police officer or any animal working with the police, you get a year!"

Lose and their down. No dressing it up really. In fact, I'd go as far as saying its a must win game given the fact they haven't even played City, Chelsea, Everton or Spurs.

I believe some Sunderland fans are facing prison too for their part in organised violence. All their "holier than thou" ****e is looking a little silly................
