Carlos Tevez seemingly calls time on his Manchester City career after telling an Argentinian chat show host that the city is "small and wet", and that he would "not even return there on vacation"

Surely if he hated the city that much he would have moved away from it when he had the chance when he went to Citeh. I'm not being funny but the 2 years he spent in Manchester with united would have been enough time for him to make up his mind. Carlos Tevez is nothing more then a souless merc, why is it these sorts of people that are blessed with this talent?

Tevez does speak an inordinate amount of bollocks!

I mean, who else would spend 5 years in a country - on the wages he's been on - and still being totally unable to speak a word of English?

Lazy, mercenary little ****. Wherever he goes I hope he crashes & burns.

How will City fare next season without their main striker. They didn't look half as good without him, than with him. Or will they keep an unhappy player there. BBC said yesterday I think, under the transfer section, it'd cost £100m to buy him, are City insane?

It's not as though they can't just go out and buy another

True, but Tevez is very good, who would they replace him with, that isn't already happy where they are

Rooney.. I think Fergie is likely to do business now. If City comes with offer of £80m.

Is that supposed to be ironic? :D

Would Fergie really do business on Rooney now he has found form? Would Rooney have his head turned again?

I'd imagine City going for someone like Ibrahimovic or a cheeky bid for Berbatov

The majority of ex-pats living on the Costas:emoticon-0101-sadsm Too often you hear "I've lived here for 10 years and only know 5 words of Spanish" used as a 'badge of honour' - sad really

He really is a quality player and I could see Manchester City sniffing around Suarez but it'd be unlikely we'd let him leave.

    Possibe replacements:
    Benzema
    Higuain
    Aguero
    Ibrahimovich
    Berbatov
Rooney (I can see it happening, everyone has their price)

If you think Rooney was somewhat insane its a good job I remembered not to add Forlan to that list!

There is no doubt Tevez wants to leave..and most likely he is going to leave. The question his "DESTINATION". I suspect Bercelona
    to link up with Mascherano.

    Sad indeed.

I'd make damned sure I could at least understand what the locals were saying (about me) if I was going to spend some time in a foreign country.
My cousin started to learn Chinese a full year before he got his relocation there - and Mandarin is just slightly harder to master than Spanish - or English in Tevez' case.

this is old news and somewhat edited , he said when his time 'with man city is up, whenever that may be he will never return to manchester'. its the reason he rents instead of buying.

For all the time he spent in England he only actually spent 2 years in Manchester,as United aren't based in Manchester. They are based in Salford.
Thats the reason why City fans put the ''Welcome to Manchester Carlos'' banner up.
