Disagree about that Stag with MR - She's OK but, as I said, still in pain - I think the lad deserved a year in jail (which will only be 6 months inside) but think the punishments for crimes out of the public eye deserve proper "time" rather than a slap on the wrist...

And, the lad will also come out of prison with a bit of cash in his pocket to "re-integrate himself into society" - my mate was inside for 1 month and got £600 for "re-integration" as they put it so guessing this prick (which he is in all honesty) will get a few grand in his back pocket to come home with

Think it's more down to the system is ****ed.

This daft **** got a year of bum banditory, well at least a few months. Now if this is correct, which it is, then other points should be raised.

The twat who assaulted Marcus's missus, should have been given a much heftier sentence also, one that is proportionate to the offence. A good few years.

It's these flaws in the system, that are making a mockery out of everyone.

Peado's get a few months, assaults, muggers etc. sometimes less...

Whilst it's fun to take the piss, as it's a daft mag ****, there is something fundamentally wrong with the system..

It's not that the horse whisperers sentence is to light, it's that the rest of the system is wrong, and should be harsher...

Don't even get me started on sentencing muslims and asians...

Despite the multiple claims, on here and elsewhere, he wasn't charged or convicted with punching a horse.

He, and various others who were jailed yesterday, were charged with violent disorder after a sustained period of rioting on public streets.

The aggravating circumstances were that he attacked the police while masked and was at the forefront of a rioting mob.

I don't make the law mate. I don't decide on sentencing. Obviously thats disgusting. you can't hold me responsible for sentencing inconsistencies in our justice system. Now this is first i've heard of your story so I'm going to say... wait for it... Your story is worse and should have carried a more severe sentant... Obviously! Did your ladies atta.. doesn't mater, not rising to this. You could have quoted Stag and agreed with him, but you quoted me to have this out for some strange reason. Crack on mate, just leave me out of your bitterness towards the law. Nowt to do with me.

He was standing in front of the mob and did not back down when the horses moved forward. To then punch a police horse in front of a load of uniforms was beyond thick. I just hope I can avoid doing anything as twatty <doh>

Yes it's disgusting. Disgusting that I want the football to be a safe place to spend recreation time. Disgusting I think families should be able to walk home from a game without being dragged into violence. Disgusting I am mate.

Lets be honest, your damning sentence to me says more about you than me. Prick.

He had no previous at all. What danger is he to anyone on the street? You have seriously ******ed to think he actually deserved a custodial sentence for what was a minor drunken offence in the heat of the moment, but that's how you right wing lot work to be fair <ok>

Sorry Bri - it was more agreeing with the standpoint Stag mentioned - in comparison to other issues it certainly doesn't deserve a sentence of the severity it got. But most sane people (me included) think it definitely deserved the sentence. No doubt he deserved to be locked up - just wish the Justice system would do something to the others that also deserve it - not to have it out and certainly not disagreeing with you - no offence meant at all mate

Sorry DL but disagree totally - If I crash my car into a tree and hurt nobody drunk and haven't ever done it before, should I not be punished for drink driving as it's the drink to blame?? If I lose my head because of drink and put someone in a coma should I not be locked up?? Only the drink is to blame and I am of no threat to anyone outside of this incident?? The lad deserved to be punished and locked up

You can't punch a police horse in a riot and claim to be innocent. That's just ****ing stupid and has nowt to do with right or left wing views.

Oh you nasty piece of work you, you nearly hurt my feelings there...

Are you a hooligan like, do you still like to cause problems, are you still living off the coat tails of your previously once infamous crew, or are you just an old slobbering ****wit trying to be the centre of attention?

Look at me, i still want to be a hooligan, in my kappa's from the 80's....**** off.

That bitch should have got years for she did to your lady. When you issue head trauma in such a way i think it should be attempted murder, not assault. The law is very inconsistent but that's what happens with democracy and judge discretion. For what it worth for the horse puncher, I bet he'd be out in a month if he pleaded guilty from the off. Changing his plea extended his sentance no doubt. That's his own stupidity. But he had to do some time such was his collective offences.

No worries fella. Sorry too. District Line put me on the defensive with his moronic comments. I should have dealt with him first and got it out my system. <ok>;)

For someone with absolutely no concept of the law, you seem to have an awful lot to say on the subject.

Are you saying that drunks have their own completely different set of laws <doh>

Or perhaps you believe that being drunk & disorderly, inciting a riot, being part of an unruly mob, concealing your identity, threatening behaviour, assault, animal cruelty, behaviour liable to cause a breach of the peace, unlawful assembly and being a gormless ****er with a loose filling and a dreadful excuse are no longer part of the British justice system. The police could have charged him with any amount of offences.

I bet they drew straws to decide which one <laugh>

The police/lawmakers fail to take into account not only the physical damage but the psychological damage done to the victim. Disgusting that someone could attack your wife in this way and escape without jail time, but it has a striking similarity to my friend's situation. An adult assaulting a minor and not getting prison time is just <doh> Anyway my best wishes to your wife.

Bit in bold is one of my biggest bug bears....anyone who can hurt little children in anyway should be locked up forever, you have to be a seriously sick individual for the thought to even cross your mind....and yet as you say in some cases sexual assault on young ones and you're out in MONTHS...it's absolutely vile.

That lass told me it was self-defence after your wife attacked her, for looking at her funny, and she only pulled her hair out 'cos she's a ginge and she thought she was doing her a favour.

Well, come on .... it's as good as the horse-clouter's excuse ;)
