Scotland was a labour stronghold when labour were a socialist party Nige . Labour are no longer a socialist party . They decided to jettison those ideals many years ago .

It took the Scottish electorate quite a while to cotten on to that fact . They did though and that is why the SNP have done so well in recent elections . They do actuallu have socialist policies that are actually working .

Now if the Scottish labour party after independence decide to adopt a more socialist stance than it can being run by English labour after independence and win an election why would you think that would bother me in the least ? I am not a memeber of any political party . My wish for an independent Scotland is born from a love for my country not from political doctrine of any political party .

At least if Labour get in the Scottish people would have chosen their Government and not had one fousted on them by middle England .
