Read the first post on this thread, didnt even know there was a forum dedicated to the whole sorry affair, canny quick on gathering info this lot, alot of them are one track minded but this post is very interesting : http://missingmadeleine.forumotion.net/t9471-everything-you-always-wanted-to-know
on RTP today (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal) : McCanns are not suspects in the new investigation into their daughter's disappearance http://www.rtp.pt/noticias/index.php?article=690593&tm=7&layout=122&visual=61 translated from link above The prosecutor ordered the reopening of the investigation into the disappearance of British girl. RTP knows that Maddie McCann's parents are not considered suspects in the new line of investigation. The decision is a consequence of the proposal of the Judicial Police and the introduction of new evidence justifying the investigation continues. In a statement, adding that the prosecution was required to the investigating judge to postpone the access to the file, for a period necessary to complete the investigation. The case dates back to May 2007. The child, 4 years old at the time, disappeared from the room where he slept with his brothers, in a resort in Praia da Luz in the Algarve, where the English family was on vacation. 's decision, the Attorney General's Office revealed today comes a week after British police have put forward a portrait robot a new suspect and evidence of progress in the investigation. Scotland Yard welcomed the reopening of the investigation in Portugal and stresses that will run in parallel with the British investigation. s'pose the key word is 'not considered' suspects
This scenario is very plausible, and would certainly account for why the dogs acted the way they did... I just keep coming back to the thought that he (Gerry) has something about him that doesn't ring true
Official Find Madeleine Campaign We are very pleased that the investigation to find our missing daughter Madeleine has officially been reopened in Portugal. We hope that this will finally lead to her being found and the discovery of who is responsible for this crime. We once again urge any member of the public who may have information relating to Madeleine's abduction to contact the police in Portugal or the UK. Please be patient and respect the work of the police as they endeavour to find the answers we so desperately need. In particular, we request that the media consider carefully Madeleine’s safety and the integrity of the investigation in their reporting. Thank you for your understanding and support. Gerry and Kate McCann Gerry and Kate will not be giving any comments regarding the progress of the investigation unless there is a significant breakthrough.
The worst is where a professional gang spend days staking out their target, follow the movements of the parents, manage to take the girl unnoticed then carry her through the streets of a busy holiday resort. "Excuse me mate, got the time?" "Errr yeah, just let me put this chloroformed little lass over my shoulder and I'll tell you." Total nonsense.
Bloody good question, not mine, taken from a page : what I want to know is.......KM says that she found cuddle cat on a shelf in Madeleine's bedroom but there was no shelf ????? then the part blood stained footprint outside Madeleine's bedroom, dna was done on the blood but no mention of the footprint analysed ???? going back to cuddle cat, if Madeleine was so attached to it then she would have gone off to sleep with it but KM says that she found it on a shelf and the abductor must of put it there......surely if she had been abducted an abductor would not have looked around the room and thought ' oh let me put it on this shelf ' ???? it would have been thrown on the floor, bed or elsewhere.......I have not read that blood was found in the childrens bedroom ( maybe I am wrong ) but if this is the case then the likelihood is Madeleine died in the living area/ parents bedroom....abductors don't kill at the scene they tend to take the victim away and then kill later on ( again I could be wrong Madeleine could have got hurt in the process of being taken ) another strange part of this is the settee being pushed against the window, it sort of shows that it had been pushed back to look like no one could have climbed on it and fallen off hurting themselves........I could be wrong on all this just trying to make sense of the scene Backs mr's theory up
I'd like to cut to the chase on this one. It's probably the first "proper" / "wordy" / "with value" thread I've ever responded to on here. Is there any way this can be bundled up and sent to the relevant people? We are a small subsection who have analysed the information as it has been presented in the media. Are we the only people - by that I mean us idiots on not606 Sunderland - in the whole UK that think this stinks? Any ideas what happens now? x
Hmmm ......... makes you wonder why the mother, thinking the 'kidnapper' had touched the cuddle cat, would boil wash it and destroy any chance of dna etc. I also wonder how Mattew Oldfield checked on the kids and claims he only saw the twins but couldn't see the girl. The Crimewatch programme showed that would be impossible. He didn't ever go there did he?
The Police ain't even looking at the McCanns or so they say. Personally I don't think they'd lie in such a high profile case. Everyone seems to have them hung cause they don't seem very nice and left a little girl alone. Granted they are crap parents. Murderers? Only in forums. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&r...14GYCg&usg=AFQjCNEY8vOwGB3rXnFF6bbiYHayvgD-yA
Did they provide the other parents with a sleeping solution? Is that the reason for the cumulative silence? x
The Portuguese police have thought this from the start Bobby, they just haven't had the evidence to definitely charge the McCanns. The McCanns are trying to sue the original investigating officer who dared to say it.
Perhaps one of the guests can explain why the police produce a 'new star witness' who said he was up to 80% certain the man he saw was Gerry McCann. Why would the police do that ......... I'm baffled.
Even that would have to involve all their friends. I can't see any circumstance where a parent could accidentally kill their child then carry on as if nothing happened.
