The Great Fire of London destroyed 13,200 residences, 87 parish churches, St Paul's Cathedral and many public buildings. How many verified deaths was it responsible for?
Sorry it took so long to confirm. A Toga is right - an item of clothing normally for men and forbidden for other women - it was standard wear for prostitutes but often in brighter colours than the normal red. They were also, at on time, required to either dye their hair blonde or use a blonde wig - a rule which lasted up to their first contacts with northern European women (naturally blonde), which in turn led to other women than prostitutes dying their hair. Over to you.
Where are you QPR? I'm missing trying to know the answers to these questions. I would love to join in but you lot are too quick & too knowledgable for me!
