    Sounds pretty similar.

What an awful half. The defence is all over the place and the midfield are playing like a bunch of strangers who aren't fully fit, which is basically what they are.
Naughton was absolutely dire until he switched to the left, Defoe looks way off the pace and he's dropping too deep and about the only player looking sharp out there is Eriksen.

Lots of offsides, but we got caught out at the back so many times. We're very lucky to be ahead.
Desperately need to bed in the current signings who haven't had much game time, but we clearly need at least one new face at the back in January, if not more.

So much for playing Academy kids etc. :)
Whether they can keep the pressing us for the entire 2nd half remains to be seen.
But we've been very lucky with the high line (again) .

What's wrong with a vuvuzela? I got mine when I was working in Africa and Spurs bloody banned them before I got a chance to take it to the Lane. Good for filling with beer though and knocking back in one so not everything was lost.

And well done to Spurs for that. Utter atmosphere killer.

How ludicrous does Chiriches' block look from this angle?

Haha, sorry deedub, but it irritates the hell out of me. It's like listening to a swarm of flies! <laugh>

Pulis has completely exposed how poor naughton was in the first half. Shocking defending..... Again!

That touch from eriksen to Lennon... Absolute class. Lennon should have buried that, but I guess he's rusty so I'll let him off ;)

Atmosphere killer? breaks the ice at parties!

Chiriches has jut added about £10 to his value. Outstanding first half.

Disgraceful first half but we're ahead somehow :D

Considering we're playing so slowly in our build up there really is no excuse for losing the ball so much.

Naughton might be playing his last ever Spurs game tonight.

We,ve had 79% of the ball, but they have had more shots on target, does thet say anything about our strikers or Creative midfield?

I don't understand our tic tacs at times. There have been so many occasions when our wingers could really get at the full back, or even just run into space and they don't, they just stop and play a nothing ball to someone. Possession football is all well and good, but we should be killing the game off, 0-1 is not enough.

Dembele needs to be driving the ball to the box.
They are physical and he should be able to withstand the barging.

He's always had the "out of position" excuse.... But tonight he's been woeful in his preferred role.

Any additions in January will be defensive IMO. Pnp has touched on the fact we could do with another CB, which I totally agree with. We need another Ryan Nelsen type.

And with naughton playing like he is, Adam smith deserves a chance!

Blame naughton. He's put out the red carpet on several occasions.

    No.
Because all the possession passing is between the back four or
the back four / DM. Just like much of the Villa game.

Moyal looks like Ronaldo's chavvy younger brother.

I would normally agree with that as it's what we should do. But as paulinho will be back in the team on Sunday, we're better off leaving dembele on and getting Eriksen off so he can rest.

Someone needs to explain to the Moldovians that if you mess with Sandro you die.

In addition, someone needs to get hold of Lamella and force-feed him about 20 chickens a day to try to get his strength up.

    Lamela didn't add anything. Worrying.

I have stated many times that I know nothing about the guy. The concern for me is that I can't even see signs of what he can potentially offer that justifies a £30m price tag. <yikes>
