Here's what he said about Fergie's comments about Gerrard about not being a '' top top player'' - "Anyone who's been in football knows that whatever is said behind closed doors and in the changing room is something you wouldn't want to hear again," Rodgers told the radio station. "It's something that's vitally important. You want to know as a human being that you can speak openly and communication is honest, and hopefully wouldn't get repeated. "It's certainly something that in modern time is becoming more difficult. I always felt that years ago you could say those sorts of things, that people were open and honest, but that it would get left behind and you move on. "As time goes on and all the social communication and technologies come along it makes it that bit more difficult. You would like to think you would still have some old school values and ethics that whatever is said you take it on the chin and keep it behind closed doors and move on." Rodgers also disagreed with Ferguson's assessment of Steven Gerrard. Ferguson claimed that Gerrard wasn't a 'top top player' and that he hardly 'had a kick' when playing against Paul Scholes and Keane, despite trying to sign the Liverpool captain in 2005. "Everyone who's seen that would probably say it's more than harsh," said Rodgers. "I've watched Steven over many years and recognised he was a top player but it's only when you come in and work with the man and realise how professional he is on a daily basis that you understand his performance level. "This is a guy who at 33 years of age who is a top, top player. He's a wonderful talent and I don't think anyone could argue."

So ****ing what? Fergie put his nose into many clubs business and his excuse was that he'd been asked for his opinion, so why are you 'offended' that BR commented on a hatchet job on one of his players. Get a grip mountain boy.
I take back my previous comment about it being a greay area, he clearly means top top player. I thought he could have meant top player or top top top player, as was suggested by his buddy Alan.
Ffs how is it bollocks? You wasn't born before 1986 and you're a glory hunter, you're from wales and have never even been old trafford and you said before your inspiration for choosing and supporting United was because of you won the treble in 1999
