Thanks for posting this, Cottager. Annoyingly, I did my online shopping from the club (both boys have birthdays coming up in the next month or so) last week. Hey ho.

I'm thinking of getting a home shirt whilst the 15% discount is running. Does anyone know how long the Marathon sponsorship deal is contracted to last and if there will be a new design / kit next season?

I don't think I can justify laying out £50 for a shirt that'll be out of date in 6 months!

Not sure about the home shirt but the current away kit will be used as the third kit next season so that will last you two years. I doubt the home kit will stay the same.

Cheers Ireland, think I'll pass this time. If I get a shirt it has to be a home one (COYW), plus I prefer a collar. Think I'll wait till next season.

Doesn't that pretty much rule out ever buying a replica shirt these days? Is my memory playing tricks, or did clubs used to only bring out one new design each season, alternating between a new home kit one year and a new away the next? Whoops, I've slipped in to moaning about the commercialisation of the game - must be getting old.

Both of my boys have birthdays in the next month, so we justify the cost of a new shirt every year (as long as they want one - and so far they always have) by doing them as birthday presents. If their birthdays were in spring, I'm not sure we'd be so keen on the expense. One thing I hadn't realised until recently was that kids kits this season don't have any sponsor's logo on them, what with an online betting company being considered inappropriate for the age group. Now that the shirts have arrived, I quite like seeing the kit with just the club crest and the manufacturers logo.

Agree Captain that the kits look better without the sponsor, our U18s wear them for their games. This is a little off topic but I noticed on Monday that Palace's shirts had no manufacturers logo. Just the club crest and a sponsor, it looked strange. Their kits are made by a company called Avec and their subs tracksuits were made by Nike. I found that one quite odd.

Captain, I've got a horrendous history of buying a shirt, then finding out it's due to be replaced or it's half price the following week. My only good purchase was the first LG shirt with the collar, I got a good 2 seasons wear out of it as the following season they redesigned the identical shirt without the collar.

Anyway, I've ordered the cheeky "Berbatov Match Tactics" T-shirt. That'll do the job until next season.

C58, I have to confess I didn't see that rather striking onesie. It's rather fetching....I'm hoping that'll end up in my Xmas stocking!

The Berba match tactics T-shirt is pretty cool. Bizarrely, they sent me a Benteke T-shirt instead, but are now replacing it for free. So if anyone knows a size XXL Villa fan let me know!

Where did you get the Berba tactics t-shirt? Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of them.

There's one UK seller that prints them - Balcony Shirts. He lists then on eBay and Amazon, plus you can order direct from their website. Google "Berbatov Tactics" and you'll see a few links.

Stumbled upon a really nice polo top on sports direct. Bizarre pricing; £15.50 for XL and £21 for S, L and XXL. Perfect if you don't want to splash out £50 each season a new shirt.

Fulham FC 1975 Home Jersey Mens
This retro Fulham top comes from the 1975 cup final and features the Wembley 1975 text to the left chest beneath the stitched FFC logo! The old Fulham top has a polo shirt style with bold black details to the fold over collar and stretch sleeve trims, complete with a button placket!

    Here's the link if anyone's interested... http://m.sportsdirect.com/mt/www.sportsdirect.com/score-draw-fulham-fc-1975-home-jersey-mens-375634?un_jtt_v_un_PDP=yes
