"Also I would have liked us to start a youth centre back. It may be a gamble but I wish we wouldn't risk Dawson for a game like this" My money is on Veljkovic possibly appearing for the return fixture, and definitely for the Tromso game. Kaboul struggling again means we will have to accelerate at least one of the Academy CB development before we get to the next transfer window.
Sounds like a brand of fuel or something. Pretty sure I've seen Tiraspol written somewhere on a superbike.
I hope so as it makes sense when we only have 3 fit centre backs right now and a left back injured meaning we are likely to play all of them at the weekend anyway. Chiriches to start as he needs game time with the team but give Dawson a break!
You've walked into my specialist subject (cos it ain't football! before some smart alec replies with that or similar! ) You're thinking of Repsol maybe, Honda's MotoGP sponsor since 1995 when Mick Doohan spearheaded their team..
Hi Crackerman For me Lennon looks good to go already. I'd start him against Hull at the weekend, and have Gylfy, Lamela and Chadli competing for the sub positions.
"I hope so as it makes sense when we only have 3 fit centre backs right now and a left back injured meaning we are likely to play all of them at the weekend anyway." With Hall out on loan, it makes sense to get the Europa group done and dusted today, and then use as many of the remaining group games as possible to move Veljkovic along the development path while Kaboul is not up to at least one game per week. This is no different what has been happening with Fryers in the cup games this season.
I agree that we shouldn't risk Dawson. Given the poor opposition we could experiment a bit: how about 3 4 1 2 Friedel Naughton, Chiriches, Fryers Lennon, Dembele, Eriksen, Chadli Lamela Defoe Adebayor
Friedel Naughton, Fryers Lennon, Lamela, Eriksen, Holtby, Sigurdsson, Chadli Defoe, Kane Cos **** it, we've got loads of attackers fit.
I agree it might have the side effect of giving Brad some good practice! But these guys are supposed to be good enough to cover in the PL - they ought to be able to manage against tonight's opposition
