Dinner today consists of a whey protein drink overlooking Newport docks.
    It's grim, very grim.

Got to build a bridge here over Christmas and if this is what it's like in October I think I'll be ready to throw myself in the Usk by January.

    Breakfast was porridge. With banana.

Won't be having a dinner as I had a full hit for breakfast but just had some wasabi peanuts as a snack and they were nice.

    No idea what's for tea.

I have no appetite. Kept waking up during the night coughing my guts up.

No idea what I'm having for dinner tonight.

Had cheese and ham toasties for dinner and it's beef stew for tea.

Last night had friends over and I did moules marinieres as the starter, she did some spanish chicken or other involving chorizo as te main, twas very nice too. Lemon and poppy seed cheese cake for afters.

I drank about a gallon of various types of red wine, felt like someone had drugged me with Rohypnol this morning! Didn't stop me going out and winning 2&1 in the winter cup knockout though, of yes indeed. (with a little help from my playing partner of course)

Having pork chop, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sautéed cabbage and stuffing balls made with sausage meat. Doused in gravy.

Washed down with ice cold coca cola. <ok>

    Sounds a nice tea that.

Had beef stew, left over from yesterday. Just watching that Tom Kerridge, are you going to his pub in Marlow for your Christmas do or something? Not exactly on your doorstep.

We are going to the hand in flowers. I think it's called. Staying in his hotel. It's a dog friendly hotel.

    It is that one yeah.

I used to go out on the piss in Marlow years back when I worked on an M40 widening scheme when I was younger.

Full of posh bits of skirt who weren't remotely interested in us! Nice town.
