I look at it this way, we have Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool in our next 6, who we most likely would lose to anyway. We have Sunderland and Palace we should beat regardless. McGregor may have made the different in the Soton game, and that's about it. Harper is not ****, so we may be ok.
This is a blow but this is exactly the reason we signed Harper - he's made a successful career out of stepping into situations like this - so I don't think it's quite time to panic yet. Unless he gets injured or sent off of course...
Harper looked pretty shocking last time he was called up by Newcastle but that might have been a one off, rather him than Jakupovic with his playing dead antics
Well December is BY FAR the busiest time of the season which starts in 5 weeks so assuming it's no longer, things could have been worse. Still not good news though. Get well soon Mags.
Harper looked good in the cup against Huddersfield, even though he didn't have much to do, what he diss have to do, he did it easily.
Jakupovic is actually more match fit than Harper is. Still, Harps should be a more than capable replacement. And if that goes tits, at least we've got an ample cover for him. And if the Jak gets injured, well. Step up Rory Watson!
Sorry for not putting up the link, I didn't have time, glad OLM covered it for me. No great source just happened to be on the City site checking for ticket updates.
