Well we have just got rid of four players, with more to be announced I am sure. But how many player do we need in our club ? We have a much higher standard of reserve team football coming up, which means we need about 35 odd players on the books, how many right now do we have ? Also don't we normally post a retained list ?
the question should be how many decent players do we have....worryingly few for a premiership club who need to have strength in depth for a season
i think we'll be getting rid of monk butler beattie or moore pintado(obviously) cotterill and maybe augustien and orlandi and we really need at least 3 new defenders to cover as who do we have if any of the current are injured not alot. also like to see a coupleof big guys in midfield as britton and allen will get bullied.

It seems obvious that we should be getting rid of all those that weren't in the first team last season, apart from up and coming players who could still make it. I think Brendan will bring in around 6 really decent players, so I imagine lots are on the way out. Maybe not in the summer, but sometime soon. I think players like Monk will be given a chance. Whether they keep a place in the team will be down to how well they perform. As BR said... no sentiment.
