Why are we so much better on European nights than in the league? Is it a case of Moyes not having to worry about how bad he does in Europe as hes been completely written off? This could mean he's less cautious. The opposite applies in the League. Hes expected to do well so hes very cautious, almost scared to try anything. If he could take what he does in europe into league games things could be very different. Take away the Swansea game and we have scored 1 less goal in 3 CL games compared to 7 in 7 PL games.
Wish it was ****. 3rd best german side dispatched comfortable. They would be the side level with Dortmund ( beat Arsenal away ) and just 1 point of Bayern Munich ( best side about atm ). Shakhtar are a decent side as well. Not as good as last season mind but still decent, especially at home. Even Sociedad could be considered decent........ in respect to League Two sides
Yeah **** off Gerrez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would say its a reasonable group, but we looked very comfortable tonight and have done in all 3 games to be honest. No idea how we didn't put the ball in the net more.
What's tough about it? Leverkusen are third in Germany but nowhere near the class of Munich or Dortmund and Sociedad are mid-table in Spain. Shakhtar are second in a pub league and aren't the force they were last season.
