Would I be likely to read it when it contains bile such as that. I think I've made it clear in the past that: 1. He was a great manager. 2. He's a **** of a human being. No need to get shirty Rufflad

Think Keane is wrong about Slurgy's loyalty. Even now he defends his son Jason and the brown paper bag culture of his choice. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...x-Ferguson-hot-collar-questions-Jon-Snow.html
In essence saint, in a round-a-bout way (as Mossy points out) Samuel is inferring - rightly - that due to Ferguson's falling out with McManus and Magnier over a horse United got the Glazers, who Ferguson even now dare not criticise, who have lumbered what is now a £400m debt; but more importantly, over £1bn has been taken out of that club during the Glazer's tenure in 'salaries' and interest payments.
Talking of his dig at Dalglish over the Evra business, I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned his steadfast support for Schmeical over the Wright case, and his advice to him to say nothing. This even though two lip-readers stated that Schmeical called Wright a black bastard. Clearly there was at least as much evidence against Schmeical as there was against Terry, but Martin Luther Ferguson had obviously changed his stance on these things in the intervening 15 years. And conveniently for him, so had the press, and lost their memories too - as they still appear to have now.
Is Red or Dead a good book, the one about Shankly and then when Paisley took over and he got moved to the side a bit?
