Because it would be naive of me to think that an independent Scotland is just going to sit on millions of barrels of oil and simply build windfarms and solar panels. The oil's going to be used up - it's just a question of what's going to happen with it and the revenue it raises. At the moment the money goes down to Westminster and is wasted. That's not my opinion - plenty of previous Government ministers have stated so. I just happen to believe that in an independent Scotland the money will be spent wisely and in a manner that will benefit more people than it does at present.
