Yeah, new manager and not playing well here, but he's only been in charge 2 games. Mexico only just got through to the play-offs, they were losing to Costa Rica and Panama were winning 2-1 against the USA and looking to clinch the play-off spot. However, two late, very late, goals from the USA meant that Mexico dragged themselves into the play-offs. It will be the only day for a long long time the locals here say 'God bless Americans,' that is for sure. Mexico's home record, at the Azteca, hasn't been great of late. Good luck NZ, although a world cup might be more colourful with Mexico in it.... Even now they are thinking of changing their coach again !!! http://prosoccertalk.nbcsports.com/...fired-miguel-herrera-fmf-el-tri-club-america/
I think you got the 'still' and the 'we' in the wrong order there NZ! I didn't realise he was still on the go - must be getting a bit long in the tooth now...
He plays for Perth. I'm going to the Pheonix - Perth glory game next month as it's being played in Christchurch. I can't imagine he will be much of a threat.
I think Portugal and Sweden are to closely matched to call, each with their own talisman! I can see this going to a penalty shoot-out!
I think Sweden and Ukraine could both do it. Portugal are always very nervy in these situations, Sweden thrive on having nothing to really lose (and have the home draw in the second leg) and France just seem to be a shadow of their former selves where as Ukraine look quite solid if not spectacular. Interesting that the 3 teams in our group at Euro 2012 are all in the play offs
