    This is what he had to say after his rant yesterday -

    “Your contract expires in June 2014. Does this bother you?"

    "No, not at all. It's personal. It's not Manchester (United) that don't want me to sign a new contract. This whole thing is personal. Manchester United's dream is that I finish my career there, but this is something "You can't say anything else on the matter?"

    "You can't say anything else on the matter?"

    "No."

    If true, its a shame, he's been one of our best signings in the last 10 years and has been one of the best left-backs in the world during his prime as well.

    Too old and past it now. Utd should have got rid of him in the summer and brought in a better LB hence Moyes chasing Baines all summer <ok>
