Like I said I would have subbed Wilshere with Cazorla right at the start. I know motivation etc needed to be considered, but it was clear he showed no signs of improving in the first half. Ozil instantly improved when Cazorla came on.
Unlucky tonight. A hard game against a quality side. Arsenal deserved something with that sensational passionate crowd driving them on. Just a blip I am sure and with Palace next , normal service will be resumed.
Been a **** hol so far as every Arab I have encountered out here is an absolute cnut; lazy ignorant bastids with zero concept of customer service....and now I'm surrounded by hundreds of smug Germans having a knees up
Chelsea fan on the wind up. Not sure there will be too many sides beating Dortmund in Europe this season. I said before the game that we could use this as a barometer as to how we'll do against the top sides in England this season, and, result aside, we were OK,not great but not as terrible as people are making out.
Just think you have come up against your first tough test of the season and struggled from start to finish.
Still think we can beat them in Germany. Anyway Palace next and not wanting to sound over-confident but we should absolutely destroy them. Chavski and Pool after that will be tough but we can win those. Hopefully Theo will be back for the away match vs BVB
I thought we were the better team, especially in the second half and we're unlucky not to win the game.
We outplayed them and they won via a break with a goal from a guy who it could be argued should have seen red. Call me when you're CL gam...I mean Europ...oh wait. Then **** off.
Actually their winner came against the run of play, in a half Arsenal had dominated. No shame in that.
Easy to give Bayern or Milan a good game when you are effectively out after the first leg and the pressure is off
To your discredit that you're surprised, anybody watching the game would have said that Arsenal were playing well and looking like scoring a winner.
