Yes, I also noted that mention listening to the Millwall match commentary - great stuff - perhaps that was down to Finglas at work in Spain?

I also tried to encourage him since I'll be there, joining the Irish R's for this game.

I said on the match day thread I thought it might have been Inky or Belfast.

Taking a trip down memory lane, on Sat 27 Nov 1971, aged 17, I travelled up to London alone on the train from Hampshire to watch us play Charlton Athletic in Division 2 at The Valley, which I remember being a huge ground. We lost a fairly close game 2-1 and I remember eating hot chestnuts as it was freezing up there on the terraces. I recall my Dad briefing me with all the tube connections, arming me with an A-Z map - not sure why he didn't join me.

Really hope our game on Nov 23rd goes better for us 42 years later!

As Swords says, lovely memories Kilburn.

Almost 42 years later to the day, you will come to London again to see QPR V Charlton.

Glad you have booked a stadium tour. They are really very enjoyable. Take plenty of photos.

Dear All Irish R's I have just bought 2 tickets, one for me and one for my daughter in the row in front of you so please keep the noise down on the 23rd. Are there any young'uns travelling with you as I have some QPR members pack goodies I'll not be needing.
