No thank you. His comedy value is high, but he'd join a long list of high expectations and low achievements.
I think we have enough of an image problem being known as the Tractor Boys without appointing a Wurzel as our manager.
Come off it - two promotions already and with more of a long-term view at Portman Road he could be our next top manager. A good, honest man whose teams play attacking football on the deck and who wants to achieve at a club of our size, history and resources. Yes please!
If we had a Holloway... Some time to celebrate Just one game at a time It would be it would be so nice! One day to come together, to release the pressure, we need a Holloway! He can turn this club around And bring back all of those happy days Put your troubles down It's time to celebrate Let us shine And we will find A way to come together, to make things better, we need a Holloway! Cant believe people dont think he is a good manager, yes please but hey MM is still our manager at the moment so...........
I know Spanish! Whether his departure is inevitable or not, we have an important game at the weekend you'd think people would get behind him while he's still in the dugout.
I certainly wouldn't be averse to Holloway. He had a good run with Blackpool. I don't think they disgraced themselves in the prem. he does like to try and play football and in all honesty with palace their a little fish in a bloody great pond.
I liked the job Holloway did at Blackpool, he did superbly there and did pretty well last season at CP but for me he's lost it this season, I never really expected them to stay up this season but when promoted you've got to try and evolve the team not bring in a tonne of players and let down the ones who got you promoted. It's just chucking money at the situation and players, that's not building a team. I'd prefer Mowbray over Ollie. Other managers I wouldn't mind seeing would be Parkinson, Tisdale and D Ferguson.
Fergie jnr eh ptc. Would be an interesting choice. Got the posh playing well this season and all fairness last season was the worst they've had. They've generally held there own under him ok. He's got an eye for finding the odd gem. But he just seems to love posh.
Indeed am intregued by the good football they play and he's found some outstanding players, particularly forward thinking ones.
