    Surely in 2011 one can start an inteligent and reasoned debate about the merits of a black team versus a white team, without having to reduce it to comic value?

    To close a thread down for not being funny is bizarre.

    Little wonder people are headin to ja606 in their droves.

    Fair point, except it wasn't intelligent or reasoned, it was just a (very) thinly veiled article that was clearly an attempt to ignite a debate on race, which in itself wouldn't be a bad topic, until it inevitably descends into vileness and hate, this is not606 after all :emoticon-0101-sadsm.

    Ok, I'll stick around here to discuss rape, fat birds and rag heads (as you like to call them).

    Yes, the term Darkies may be slightly un-pc but was somewhat balanced by the term cracker.

    I am curious at what you use as your barometer for what is and isn't acceptable. There have been several posts denigrating the Scots and Irish, making light of the potato famine, sexist abuse and threats of violence.

    But the word darkie lights up your moral compass.

    You don't have to justify yourself to me. Because you can't.

    I was quoting someone else with rag heads just as I was quoting you with darkies. I've never made a secret that the only thing we won't tolerate at all in this forum was racism.

    I genuinely don't mind well reasoned debate, or at least something entertaining - but you are up to something else.

    As only a racist would see someone who is a different colour as belonging to a group, to be slandered. I've several black English friends, I've a Jamaican friend who has never been in England in his life, you are the one grouping them together as a different category of person.
