The QPR boss has been linked with moving for a centre back, where he currently only has Clint Hill and Richard Dunne available, but insists he is happy with that for the moment. Redknapp also conceded thoughts about who is out of contract at the end of the season could not be further from his mind. He said: âNedum (Onuoha) is only a few weeks away, so if we can continue with just the two lads (at centre back) we're okay. We won't be so short when Nedum comes back. We've had a couple of lads training with us, they're both decent. âI'm not too bothered (about the January transfer window), I'm happy with the squad I've got. I'm not sitting here thinking I've got to get some players in, hopefully we won't have to do anything too much. âWe've got no real cover at right back, Danny Simpson is the only senior player we've got there. If Nedum isn't fit and we got an injury I really don't know who we would play at right back at the moment, it would be a difficult one. âI don't even know who's out of contract at the end of the season. I won't even look at that, there's no point. You see where you are at the end of the season, see what division we're in. There's no rush to do anything. if we are not up there in january we will need players. if we are up their he will be looking to get players in that will keep us there and we will be able to use them next year.
My feelings too, either to strengthen for the push towards end of season or better still if really looking good to start the work for the following season.
This is all nothing talk from Redknapp Impossible to predict what sort of shape our squad will be in with respect to injuries etc. I expect him to go for another CF, as my gut tells me Chevanton won't get an extension on his deal. I would like to him to sign another defender on a deal to the end of the season too, surely one of Zaliukas and Onyewu are good enough? Recall Michael Harriman if he wants cover at RB

I think we'll re-sign Samba in January. Still some Russian cash that needs laundering. Plus it gives him half a season to get fit before we sell him back in the summer.
