We signed 7 players so of course they're not going to be World Class. I'm not worried, there are dozens of players who have come to the Premier League and had a quiet start before going on to become a top player in the league. The likes of Lamela were signed for their longterm impact more than their immediate impact and that's clear from the fee we paid, you could criticise any youngster that comes in if you're going to base their value solely on their current performances. Zaha looks like a waste of money at the momnent and Chamberlain doesn't look like a £15mill player either. I think we know why you have such a problem with the fees we've paid though

 

Palace can feel a bit unlucky about trailing to Fulham here, but they are simply not PL team. We should be destroying them on Saturday.

Not really. Since the turn of the year, we have become very good at beating the dross, and Palace are the worst of the worst.

they made fulham look like an in form side full of confidence instead of a side that were in the bottom 3 at the start of play.

They will have no confidence after tonight and after they chase shadows against you lot for the first 20- 30 mins they will crumble

 

Lol, Derby. They gave Ade SIX goals that season. I think Derby were worse, because they just got hammered game after game. Palace have not been destroyed week in week out.

 

i think the only possession they will get is when the goalie is picking it out of the net .

There is something sad about a team getting battered week in and week out and at the moment both palace and sunderland have lost all but 1 of the first 8 matches and are both looking terrible..think palaces only win was against sunderland

i wonder if Chamakh is rueing the massive opportunity to make a name for himself at Arsenal .

Not really. He was a brilliant player for Bordeaux and helped them win the French League and also did really well in the CL, he scored against the likes of Bayern Munich. And when he first came to Arsenal, he started off brilliantly and was one of our better players, but as soon as RVP got fit, Wenger dropped Chamakh, and he has been on a downward spiral since.

 

I feel really sorry for Chamakh,as you say he played really well until he was dropped when RVP returned from injury.It just shows how easy it is to destroy a player's career

 

Not even one of them is world class though and for that money you could have bought two or three that were. I don't know why you think I have a problem with the fees you've paid though, that's a massive incorrect assumption to make. I love seeing you lot piss money up the wall on dross year in year out
