This pre-match Palace interview with Jol explains it a bit more. Reading between the lines he is up to his spoilt brat MO. He's not putting the effort in and has been on numerous ' Pie Crawls.' A rather diplomatic Jol touches on this at 30 seconds onwards. Btw, two cracking first half goals from our neighbours this evening. They were so good that there was complete mayhem in the away end as a coach load of Fulham fans stood and clapped, dropping their Fois Gras Wraps in the process. Trouble is he wouldn't get in our team now, he's had his chances, shown total disloyalty and he's reaped the reward he deserves...
Speaking of which, hows Hooper getting on at Norwich? We nearly had him instead of Charlie Boy at one point
I was speaking to some of the boys on the fulham site yesterday and they've had it with him already !! Still, it did us a favour
David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76 1h Waiting for Ollie. Just like the old days. But it doesn't look good for him - it seems he's with the chairman.
Does indeed look like Palace and Sunderland doomed.. Shame as there are a couple of other teams I'd just love to go down, but will probably get away with it... Both PL and championship this year already seem much more divided between the haves and have nots... Lets see over next couple of months.
you're forgetting adel still has 4 years left on his contract with us after his loan runs out. then what? put him on loan again or stick him in the reserves?
It is when you have ignorant club owners who expect you to continue to perform with the team who took you up. Nothing grips me more than imbecile owners who don't back their manager ................ Gotta to feel for Olly.
Not wanting to start yet another Adel debate, but it sounded to me that Yol was saying that Taarabt wasn't fit due to an ankle injury. He says that Taarabt really WANTED to do his best for Yol, so the manager was disappointed that Adel wasn't fit. Could be interpreted either way I guess. He also says later on that he'd like to play Berb, Bent and Taarabt together, so he's obviously a big fan.
What are you talking about? Palace signed 17 new players over the summer. Olly has already said it's too many, but spent most of the summer moaning about agents as he failed to sign his targets and went out and bought the next available bloke on the rebound. All sounds very familiar to me.
The moral behind the old adage that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence went over Adel's head: He comes from a desert!
A few months ago I posted on another thread that there was less camel **** on the other side of the sand dune. That probably makes me a racialist or something.
OK, I've just taken the blinkers off ....................... I must have been thinking of Sunderland spending all the money and here I was being sympathetic to Olly. I'll blame the weather over here, being too far away from your back step and the fact that whatever happened last week has gone in one ear and out the other. I might even accept a small portion of the blame of making such false statements myself just cause I'm in a sporting mood. Case closed.
