    How good was the first Fulham goal (yes I know I'm a day late)

    Was up there with Torres' goal against Blackburn when he chested it but he was going away from goal and then volleyed back over the keepers head <ok>

    I thought Arsenal looked pretty good. Their only real weakness was being sliced open on the few times they didn't have possession of the ball resulting from quality players attacking at pace. I've always said, and plenty others have too, that whilst they have a fantastically technical and skillful midfield, they have no defensive ability or strength. That was shown up by the higher level of opponent.

    Their midfield is so strong that it almost compensates the lack of a decent defence and top class striker. However, that midfield needs Flamini and I maintain that he was Arsenal's best signing this summer and not Ozil.

    Watching Dortmund last night, they looked so solid at the back (on most occasions) and are so disciplined. The work rate was unbelievable. I hope we can emulate that here at Liverpool.

    I think he is the type of attacker Rodgers wants to bring in - would be great if we can get him but I imagine there will be a long line of clubs after him as well.

    Also, rumours are picking up that we're scouting M'Vila, Gonalons and Matic.

    Almost being the key word. Whilst Arsenal fans blindly purr away at their fantastic attacking flair, most others have simply said that a real team will get through them easily because of their defensive frailty. Last night showed that. You need defensive minded players in there.
