I honestly think Sweden can take Portugal - and by God, I really hope they do. A World Cup without the cheating winker would be bloody fantastic. France should be too good for Ukraine, but the away leg will be tough. They should just drop Evra to get rid of all the baggage he brings. Croatia obviously are fine, and Greece/Romania could go either way.
Wouldn't want to call but I think I'd like to not see France & Portugal there. I'd also like to see Iceland get through, but I think it's all but impossible for them, but never say never, I'll give them 5%!
I agree BUT Sweden are our bogey side; I wouldn't fancy us to beat them to qualify for the knockout stages.
Greece always seem to do well without beating anyone decent. Looks like they'll again make the World Cup and probably get drawn in the easiest group.
Why? The fact that they didn't win their group raised a few eyebrows, considering they were in there with Scotland, Wales, Macedonia and Serbia. Belgium are also beatable. Iceland aren't a bad side, they have some very good players. Gylfi Sigurdsson, Birkir Bjarnason, Alfred Finbogasson and Kolbein Sigþórsson are all great players that can cause them problems. In fact, if Croatia go into the game with the mindset of 'it's only Iceland', they could be in trouble.
Fair enough - but I do rate Croatia. Even though they need some fresh blood soon, they shouldn't pass their sell-by date until after next summer. There's no shame in coming second to Belgium, who look terrifyingly strong now.
Greece and Croatia should start looking at hotels in Brazil now. Would not surprise me to see both Portugal and France miss out though.
I would be happy for England to get drawn into Colombia's group when the main draw is made on friday 6th dec.
I don't get it. You've predicted that Portugal and France, two great sides might miss out, but Greece and Croatia will piss their games? How bad do you think Iceland and Romania are? Some people's wider knowledge of world football is shocking.

Iceland do have some decent players going forward - but their defensive record doesn't suggest they will be able to keep Croatia out. If England had a Rotherham player back there, I'd certainly be fretting.
To be fair, in terms of attacking, if you keep Mandzukic quiet, Croatia's strikeforce is severely weakened. That doesn't mean nobody else will score like...
