    What's this?
A baseball cap wearing amateur wannabe in a basketball uniform holding a karaoke mic, gold accessories and putting his palm on a volleyball?
Can anyone even enlighten me what footwear is he wearing?

I'm worried now, Sunderland have broken yet another record. The defeat against Swansea secured the worst start in PL history. Portsmouth the previous holders had 0 points from 7 games but won their 8th. Sunderland have 1 from a possible 24! They are due a win and this is a game they'd have targeted anyway, and one they'd see against one of the divisions relegation candidates.

Interestingly in their previous record breaking points totals, they 8 and 5 points b this stage. Its all setting up for us to be their kickstart isn't it! I hope Pards reminds our lot how much we owe them one.

Furthermore (not looking to be some kind of Korton here) but they are 12 games without a win in the PL. Making this game 13............................hopefully unlucky for them not us

I find it difficult to gauge this kind of match. As a mag, I tread with caution and tend to think more along the lines of "well, they're probably due a win". However, if roles were reversed I'd be fearing a tanking against the superior local opposition.

I assume we're going to approach this match in EXACTLY the same way as we did vs Liverpool. Steven Taylor alongside Willo gives us passion and vocal presence, something that both Santon and Debuchy have benefitted from. The midfield 3 comfortably bossed the midfield and will be asked to do the same. Both Tiote and Cabaye appear to think its 2011. Sissoko just needs to bring that bit more power and he'll be fine. Remy will hopefully be back to 100%, Gouffran must keep his place and I'd stick with HBA. I think it could work, as HBA can drop deeper, can take players on, can also run wide and both Remy/Gouffran are getting increasingly adept at coming infield.

Though HBA was pretty poor I think I'd go the same again too. Cisse is just too out of form and we have no other options bar changing Gouffran/Remy roles which I think is completely the wrong way to go. I don't believe in fixing problems by making more!

Anybody thinking Colo's injury may miracously disappear and this could be all a bit of gamesmanship?

Joint worst start, Sheff Wed were on 1 point and had worse goal difference during the 99/00, this was after losing 8-0 to Newcastle.
