Neither because HULL CITY are going to win the league. Failing that as long as its not newcastle i dont mind
Sorry, but I simply don't buy that. Sure, there is going to be the odd sensible Mouser - the law of averages will tell you that there has to be a few of them out there, somewhere - but the average Mouser truly believes that they can win the league. And do you know how I will prove that I'm right? Easy. Because when 'Pool start to bottle it, and slip evermore down the table, the vast majority of Mousers will start having a pop - at the manager, at the players, at the Klanfield cat, everyone and everything (except "King" Kenny, who is beyond the reproach of mortal men).
same applies if you don't win the title after spending 100m plus... but I suppose this whole thread wasn't designed to disguise that little fact
Again, really? I've not talked to one person who thinks we're going to win the league the season. You strike me as the sort of person who bases their opinions on fans purely from the BBC match day updates. Bottle what? We're not challenging for the title so how can we bottle a title challenge? If we hit a bad run of form and we're not performing we will question the manager, and some of the players.. Isn't that how it works when the team isn't performing? When you lost last week was you all sat around merrily and not questioning where you went wrong in the match?
Of course there was a massive uproar due to the loss vs West Ham. Ignore HIAG, he is a professional troll. He would prefer Arsenal to win the league rather than Liverpool, and he's a Spurs fan! He was happy that Arsenal beat Tottenham because it would "Wake them up". I've never seen a Spurs fan bend over backwards to appease Arsenal fans as much as HIAG. He gets his opinion on other teams from the other trolls or WUMs on this board. It'd be like looking at Meth (Carrack_13 I think) and judging all Utd fans due to him, or...well looking at HIAG seeing him as the standard Spurs fan. It's all about attention and shock value. Liverpool won't win the league this year, but if we were to go by fans over-estimating their club, until the West Ham match you could say it's been as bad here as you accuse Liverpool fans of being.
I would rather Arsenal won it. If it weren't for the fact they are Arsenal i'd actually quite like them i think
you cannot spend less than zero I'm afraid, it just doesn't work like that, you spent 100 odd and made 86odd. in other words you spent 100m regardless of what you made back.

Net spend is a measure of how a club is funding its transfer activities. Gross spend is effectively a measure of the talent being brought into a club.
This is 4 years I think? What years are they, cause I guarantee Arsenal didn't have a negative spend last year?
you can't compare gross spend with NET player talent. If you sell a player then you lose his talents. Your team just got worse. If you sell your entire team for £500m and then buy an entire new one for £50m its not the same as another team who kept their £500m-worth squad and spent an additional £50m on it.
