    Now come on people, if the last few weeks have taught us anything, its that Boa/Korton etc was right all along. Be extremely negative about our chances and hey presto, we get decent results

    All is well, now that Pardew has decided to stop trying to copy Arsenal's tactic and has moved on to try and mimic Barca. When Ben Arfa was comparing himself to Messi, Pards looked over the two sides and thought "I think he's got something here....Messi/Benni....Cabaye/Xavi....Sissoko/Iniesta....Busquets/Tiote.....suicidally attack-minded full backs.....Puyol even has the same hair as Colo, near enough.....Jonas, get on eBay and buy me "How To Play Like Barcelona" right now."

    I do...but name a team who's aim is to finish top ten that isn't in the same boat.

    West Ham are so short up top (they only have Carroll who's any good and he's out) that they've re-signed Carlton Cole.

    I think 9 points would be a great return from our next 6 games and that's what I think we'll achieve.

    There are a few in that boat for sure. I just think though we are more vulnerable than most because we have shortages all over the pitch bar central midfield.
