A week before and it sinks before people run out of things to say and/or it becomes repetitive. Although not quite so much, the same goes for a few days before. One or two days should be ample
If people wanted it a week before then it could be stickied, it rarely sinks a few days before, especially if we play a top team. I feel a week is too long, and a day isn't enough. 3 or 4 days is about right.
Maybe we should look to combine that and Mr Gonzo's post match threads; insist they MUST stay on topic and sticky it
Tbf mate, people rarely go off topic on the match threads anyway. So if it's stickied it doesn't matter when it's created. Then just I sticky it a day or two after we've played
I didn't think you were up for stickying it? I swear I suggested that before and one of the mods wasn't up for stickying it cause there were too many stickies. Ahem - the chav board
I'd prefer not because of the number of sticky's. However, Mr Gonzo always sticky's the post match thread so if we combined them then it would be no different
If you sticky match threads you'll get less posts that way (plus there's enough stickied threads as it is). And 3 days before the match sounds about right.
Well yeh exactly, plus if you wanted to reduce the amount of stickies we have, delete the one about Gonzo's balls. I meant that's official anyway, look at his title.
From RHC#s original guess, its still about four weeks away. However, Mr Gonzo got is appointment date and time (this Friday at 1.30pm) through last week
There's no way I'd be doing it so I appreciate the efforts made by anyone who does. With that in mind, I say whenever anyone is able to get around to it and thanks in advance.
