Holy ****, some of the posts lately are enough to make me want to slit my wrists. Yes yesterday's game was a pile of ****e but trust me, it won't be the last one. We support Sunderland after all, it goes with the territory unfortunately.

Based on our standing in the league it looks like we are relegation fodder. However, I have seen enough in some games to suggest we are playing ok and we just need a bit of luck to go our way.

Of course I don't want us to be relegated, but if we are then that's the way it goes and I will still support this team until they put me in the ground. But there is still a **** load of games left.

I for one will be as positive as possible because that's what we need right now. As for the remarks about certain players, I hope Poyet shakes it up and also makes Catts captain again.

Anyway, as the title says get on board and show your support, that's what we need.

I'd rather be sitting next to you than some of the miseries who've been posting.

I've never been a quitter and won't be doing so in October when the season ends next summer.

p.s. We'll beat Southampton in the cup and be drawn at home again :)

Smug, positive thinking mate. That's what we need right now, we are helping to breed a culture of doom and gloom. I ****ing love this club and I'm proud to support it. Just hope for a rub of the green and away we go......

Positive thinking will not put points on the board which is what we need and, call me a misery guts but we need to WIN 2 games and the teams just above to lose 2 games to get even close to safety.
I have supported SAFC properly since 1979 and, have seen all this before which is why I reckon we will struggle this season. If we go down ( note the if word there) then so be it, doesn't mean I don't support the team and, I don't need some ****ing no mark telling me that. If you are happy with the fantasy that we are playing well fine but, I refer you to the league table which says we are not. Or do I ring ye FA/PL and tell them they have the table upside down?

I saw glimmers of a team under PDC and we lost games through individual errors not the way we were playing.
People have ignored how well we played in some of those games and lost.
All they latched onto was the fact that PDC had a pop at the actual guilty parties that lost us those games.

As far as Sunderland goes they get my support where ever they are league wise.
Call me deluded but I will never ever right MY team off as relegated until the final whistle of the season.
I have had 50 years of only having belief!
I wouldn't wish the 3rd division on any one, but I didn't give up on Sunderland even those dire days.
People saying that if we get relegated will destroy OUR club make me cringe.

    Cnut?

*Cnut the Great, more commonly known as Canute, was a king of Denmark, England, Norway, and parts of Sweden, together often referred to as the Anglo-Scandinavian or North Sea Empire.*

    Why thank you :D

We're supporters mate and we support the club.

The players/managers/owners aren't the club, we are.

Whatever the current lot are up to we'll support Sunderland despite what we might think of them.

My first thought, yesterday, was for the people who travelled down to support the club, not the players or manager.

We're all in this together whatever we think of this player or that player ........ they'll all be ex-players one day.
